Hi Everyone,

It looks like Tuesday night will stand as our meeting night. Paul - are we still good at RoundTable in Granite Bay? If you could provide everyone with the address, that would be great!

Our club is brand new so we are looking for input from all of our members as to what you would like to see, share or create as an REI Club. We can work at keeping each other on track, work on Dean's focus of the month. Since this month is Octoberfest - we could review his 3 chapters and help each other move forward. Most that I have talked to are stuck and need some encouragement to get started.

Again - this is our club and we can take it in any direction you would like.

Looking forward to seeing you on Tuesday, October 27th at 7:00.

Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to let you know that though we only had 3 people in attendance, we did meet last night. Paul, Daphne and I met at Roundtable Pizza in Granite Bay at 7:00. We talked about our ideas and thoughts on how we would like to get started.

We are very interested in Matt Larson's method of 25:1. Daphne is well on her way to making that happen and has gotten most of her team assembled. Paul has a couple of properties he is very interested in pursuing. Ed and I now have our LLC, are looking for a Realtor and will be talking to local banks. We have all made steps toward our goal of being successful Real Estate Investors.

It became very apparent as we sat and talked about real estate investing, that there is no single right way to go about this. Dean provides us with so many tools but his idea of just going out and practicing some of them is what we talked about and I personally am going to commit to doing just that. How great would it be to practice ourselves right into our first deal??

We all have our strengths and we all have our fears but together we can help each other to succeed through our strengths and to overcome our fears.

Our next meeting will be on Tuesday, December 22nd. Yes - it is the Tuesday before Christmas but what a Christmas present to each of us if we can show up at the meeting sharing any additional progress we have made.

It would be great if each of us could bring an opportunity to the table for our next meeting and discuss the steps it would take to close that deal.

We discussed some pretty aggressive goals of having a deal by the end of the year. If not a deal - I am confident that the actions we all take in this next month will bring us that much closer. Can't wait to celebrate with all of you when that happens.

At this time of Thanksgiving I would like to share that I am truly thankful that I sat up and took notice very late one night and ordered a book that a guy named Dean Graziosi was pitching. He just seemed like a real guy - very sincere and very believable. I'm thankful that when the books came, I shared them with my husband and he also saw the possibilities and became excited. Then I thought - if we are feeling this way - there have to be more out there just like us who would like to meet and discuss Dean's methods and then I met Paul who encouraged me to attend some local REI meetings and then Daphne joined us and shared all of her knowledge and enthusiasm with us. I am so grateful to have become a part of a group that has so much potential and is looking forward to doing great things and wants to help others along the way. Thank you!

Hi Everyone,

I know that I told you we would be having a meeting the Tuesday before Christmas but our daughter and son-in-law are closing on their home that week so we will be helping them move in and decorate for Christmas so that they can have Christmas in their new home. We will resume our meetings in January on Tuesday, January 26th and will set up the calendar for the year at that meeting.

Please feel free to use this blog to ask questions, share thoughts and to let us all know how you are doing with your real estate investing. I know that if REI is your goal for 2010, we can help each other to be successful.

Hi All,

Since we are all scattered around Northern CA and it is difficult for everyone to make it to the Granite Bay location, we have decided to support the 3 Sacramento area REI established clubs and disband our attempt at starting this club. We are being respectful of the fact that everyone's time is very limited and most are working a full time job in addition to starting up their investing business. I'm sure you will find the other clubs programs and networking opportunities very helpful.

I really hope that I will meet you all at some of the other meetings so that we can establish a DG network through these other clubs.

I am a Santa Rosa native. Its in Sonoma Co. incase anyone doesnt know where that is. I have also lived in Rohenert park and Sonoma for many years so I am pretty knowledgeable about the Sonoma county area. It is where I would like to get started in investing, my dad and me I should say.

Anyways Ive been in the Navy the past 6 years and currently im on shore duty in Ventura county so given the geographic locations between the two counties can be difficult for me. But im going for where I know best which is sonoma.

I do spend alot of time in NorCal during my time off. I am much more comfortable in the North than down there and id eventually like to link up with investors in this area, especially ones who are tuned in to the DG program. Im starting a LLC next month and ill take it from there. I support any operation in the are for investors and would like to network in the near future. Theres enough to go around for us all and helping anyone with the same goals can be profitable for all.
