Is it far from my reach or can I get started now?

Hi Everyone! My name is Takeya and I'm from NYC. Out of all the books read, DG's is the most comprehensive for me, yet I haven't started yet.

Here, everything is 300-400 thousand and up. I'm sure you know that. For someone in my present situation, I'm unsure if I have options to really get started, although I definitely have the passion.

A LITTLE QUESTION ABOUT STARTING OFF WITH A REALTOR

I had a question if its not too much of a bother i will really appriciate any who can help. When it comes to the real estate agent, how much such the commission be based on sales and so on.. would the agent give me their own price or should i give them a offer? if i do make an offer, what would you say would be a good percentage?

Im new here and i just finished reading Dean's book and im soo both excited and scared but in a very good way. I believe in this so much and I look around this website and I see all the support everyone gets and feel its such a wonderful thing to have. I think this will be where i will get the most support because we are all in the same boat and sometimes when people dont exactly move on in there lives, its hard for them to be happy for you and believe in you.

Fulfilling a Dream (Now I need the Advice of Others)

I have read the book, I have set up the web sites. Now What? I think I will begin to assemble my Buyer/Investor list. I hope to achieve this relatively quickly by accessing web sites and placing ads and also running targeted ads in my local newspapers. This should initially only cost a small amount since money is tight right now.
Achieving my dream of a successful Real Estate business and massive income will mean an outlay of time (in short Supply but available) and dedication (overflowing).

Hi everybody I got Dean books July 19. I was at the point in my life when I knew is was time for a change. I would like to work towards my retirement. My husband company shut down 2 years ago so we had rearrange our life style alot. I work also but his income was much more than mine. We have a son with pre-existing condition so many time he is hospitalize yearly, but we are very blessed because it could more or worst instead of yearly so I won't complain.

Hello everyone. Im somewhat new to the DG world of investors. I purchased Dean's books about 2 months ago. Ive been reading and building my knowledge so far. I want my knowledge to be very strong. I ordered the edge kit and have been getting my wife envolved Today I passed out 200 fliers on cars that were parked outside of apartment complexes. Im just focused on building my buyers list at this time. I will doing assignment of contracts to build capital. I just cant wait until REI is a piece of cake to me. I know if I dont give up that will be the ultimate turn out.

my wife & I just bought the book and we are still reading it, but the house that we are living in is for sale by owner. its asking for 2.4 millions and the owner is so realy anxious to sell it fast. I think this is a very good pices of property that all investers are looking for, because its so outdated. with few changes you can another million or two.

second deal since joining the academy!!

just got deal #2 in motion !! signed purchase agreement on 3 bdrm sfr with tennant paying 475 per month. asking price 35000 and my offer 25000 .it has been approx 2 mnths since my offer was presented and at first she rejected it. after closing on my first deal since joing the academy she called back to say she wanted to sell NOW !!
