I'm new to DG REI, but I have an eye for deals and I found one in Alexandria, VA! I have found two lots for sale under R-2 zoning that are currently vacant lots and have utilities available. After doing some research, the owner appears to have inherited the lots and wants to sell due to tax reasons. The deal is there and a $100,000 profit could be made from this procurement! The properties are along a popular corridor and are close to schools and shopping. Commuters will love the location with the proximity to I-95!

Hello DG Family!

My name is Moonbeam101 and I'm new to investing. Just wanted to know if anyone is interested in investing in the 5 boroughs of New York City. The more the merrier! The mind is rich and knowledge is power. We need the right team players to convert rich thoughts to a rich reality. I'm ready!

I am looking to expand my list of Investors/Buyers/Partners who have an interest in properties in VA, DC, & MD. I started my real estate investing by bird dogging for a wholesaler because I felt unsure about contracts, and all the legal stuff pertaining to a real estate investment transaction.

I have been on this forum for a while and I just need some more ideas on how to attract realtors buyers sellers and mortgage brokers,and to work with someone who has done assignments of contract on a regular basis and has a solid buyers list and is getting deals over the phone from mortgage officers and just need someone to "show" me the ropes I have both of dean's books and I have alot of drive I just think I am doing something wrong or I have overlooked something.

I read Dean's book and I have been looking for that "thinking outside the box" kind of place here in the DC area since Sept 2008. I am still looking. I'm looking for people in this area for networking and discussing what is going on in our area.

Hey guys, how are you guys doing today? am posting this to get some feed back on the california market. If anyone has invested the los angeles area or anyother areas around los angeles. All am looking for a good way to get started. How to get a real state agent to work with me and how to make deals? Please let me know if you could help or give some tips!!

People ask ...Is it an advantage or a negative to be a licensed Agent/Broker? There are some positives and negatives. You get access to MLS. That's a Plus for sure. You are there in the office as new properties come in. Yes there are some good things.

Also there are some things that can restrict you because of the license and the fiduciary responsibilities that come with the title.

I'm seeking other investors in Louisiana to network with. Buyers and sellers are welcome.
