Hello all,

I've spent entirely too much time reading Dean's books, re-reading them, getting into webinars, researching properties, then sitting on my fanny scared half to death of taking the first step. Well, I'm much more scared of remaining in an unbearable situation, so the action steps began a couple weeks ago. And...I've stumbled, but hey, that's what you do when you first find your legs, right?

I don't know about you, but I'm thinking it may not be a bad idea to network with fellow DG'ers, talk REI, then blow the roof off the market down here...What do you think?!? If we can get the networking nailed down, there's no reason why any of us should fail to meet our respective goals.

Hello. My name is Jerome and I reside in the Charleston, SC area. I am SO READY to begin my journey into real estate investing, but at the same time I am so nervous. I have been going through some VERY TRYING times with my "past life"... A.K.A. EX-WIFE" and she is continuing to take everything from me, including my beautiful daughter. Over 80% of my income goes to "child support". My credit is beyond shot from this and I have a beautiful lil girl that would LOVE to see her father but due to (let's call it) "TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES", can't see me... I have many sleepless nights, and have developed a health "condition" due to all of my stressing... So it "FEELS" like I have nothing left...

I have been working in my area in NW Montana, with no success. My Cousultant at the Academy suggested that I look into finding deals in Kansas. I have decided to try Topeka, and have started calling Real Estate Agents. I just wanted to find out if there are any DGers in that area, that I could work with.

I am so badly stuck and really need help.
I sent out 15 emails to all my local real estate companies looking for a realtor who would work with me.
I only got 1 response and it was from another investor who told me NOT to get into investing
Around here because it wasn’t worth it.

I am so discouraged. It’s like nobody will work with me. They won’t even answer my email!

I have a really hard time understanding the legal/contract concepts and the math. Finding the right realtor
Could alleviate lots of this confusion. My strengths are more creative. For example: I can take
A beat up, ugly house and know exactly how to rehab it into a shining jewel, but am clueless when it comes to the paperwork and math for selling it.

I have been interested in Real Estate Investing for a while. Finally decided to just jump in and try it. I have no money, to offer anyone for help/mentoring. But, I am a recent Massage Therapy school Graduate. i would not mind at all trading your knowlegde and expertise for free weekly,monthly, hell Daily massages if it helps me get a better understanding and start on the road to saving my families future.
