I just wanted to take a minute and congratulate all of the people that took the time and entered the Edge 2011 contest. It's is a great opportunity and I'm glad to see others think the same way. As far as I'm concerned you're all winners for taking the first step in changing your lives for the good.

I was an agent for 3 years and know what agent do and how they think. I have networked and worked alongside lenders and understand their process. Now that I’m a real estate investor I’m now in line to make paths where there were no roads. I have been around and continue to surround myself with people of business and real estate investing.

I wanted to start a string of posts related to RE investing that is occurring in Oregon and create a comfortable location to network. I have been on Dean's website for about 8 months and have not seen many posts from the State of Oregon. So, here it is, a simple place to network and develop good local business relationships through the DG network. Please post if you will and PM people if you are uncomfortable with this general forum or want to share your contact info with someone.

Here is a little about us to start it off.

I'm lookin' for any DG members in or around the Southwestern corner of Michigan. I'm learning a lot of things pretty fast on this site and would like very much to find someone else in this state that I can count on being in the same mindset and I see no better way than to talk with directly like-minded people with this close of a common interest. I was wondering if there were any REI's out there in the Tacoma Washington area that would like to get together for coffee? I would not mind doing a partnership or even just sitting down and brain storming on how to make money.

I want to take the time to explain what I am 99.9% sure DG.com superstar Matt Larson (cbrpower) is basing his GO FAST techniques on. I am pretty sure he is basing what he does in real estate on a technique he pulled from the manufacturing industry. It is a process called LEAN MANUFACTURING.

There have been a couple of offers on this site that have gone way above what should be expected and they really didn't get much of a response.

What are you people thinking out there?? These guys are offering us a great opportunity and can't even get a much needed Thank You. maybe people are spooked by the offers and afraid that they will ask for something in return...I don't know.

I for one would like to send a great big THANK YOU for the opporunities and all the help. I think you know who you are so I don't have to name anyone. I want people to find the links on their own.
