Buyer's List

Buyer's List

Hello DG Family, I am in need of some help here. I am trying to build a buyer's list for the area I'm in which is the far northwest suburbs of chicago, I have posted on craigslist for the past month and did google searches for buyers. So, far no responses from craigslist and when I called the one's I found on google they didn't want to invest this far out of chicago. I will be calling bandit signs in my area tomorrow. I contacted my real estate agent for the cash buyers in my area so far she has sent nothing. I have copied some of the ad's I found here(sorry!) figuring if you all got a response using them why wouldn't I? I appreciate if you could help me maybe think of some different ways to attract buyers. My last resort is standing on the street corner doing a dance while holding a sign saying " wanted cash buyers and investors" Smiling
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank-you

Buyers and bandit signs

Join some REI groups/meetings in your area....they are the absolute best place to network with other real estate investors, vendors, buyers, landlords, flippers, contractors, RE agents, attorneys, hard money lenders, title companies, rehabbers, & even mentors, etc.
Run an Internet search for real estate investor groups, meet ups, clubs, meetings, and/or events.
Many of them have websites and supplemental online learning, live case studies, guest speakers, contractor contacts, and selective partners.
Also, at the bottom of Dean's Total View Tools there are listed links: REI clubs, etc. (below the video feeds).

Try vehicle magnets in lieu of bandit signs!
Vistaprint.com and overnightprints.com have them starting at $9.99.
That's about the cost of 2 bandit signs, but they won't be confiscated!
Do a word search here >>> Check the archives & blogs.
...one DG fellow investor couple makes yellow ones w/black letters for all 3 of their vehicles. They get great results! ~Hope this helps! Laughing out loud

PS. Many communities/municipalities have COPs (Citizens on Patrol) who remove bandit/garage sales/lost n' found signs, etc. [within 10 ft. of city curbs/medians] regularly. These are considered "non-official" (illegal/unlawful) signs.
Therefore, removal is strongly enforced and actually costs taxpayers big bucks (about $40K+ annually, here in TX). Only city ordained traffic and road signs are permissible. Double check your city's codes for specific regulations.

Standing on the street corner! Well some did that in NY etc to find a job. Well maybe not; looks too desperate!

For Rent - For Sale Signs

I had a DG'er tell me to call For Rent signs and ads. Landlords are excellent buyers or usually know someone who wants to buy or sale. They may also want to sell some of their property. Give it a try.
