Anyone out there using 411.com or whitepages.com to get the phone number of owners? It appears you have to subscribe (pay) to get all of the features.
I sent out a number of letters to owners of vacant properties and had about 15 or so returned with no forwarding address. I'm trying to get their phone number so I can give them a call.
My next step is to go talk to the neighbors but wondered if anyone out there is using a site that works.

I know of someone who puts her signs on the vacant properties, and then the owners call her asking why her sign is on her property! (you can always blame it on your 'assistant' who left it at the 'wrong address'
This investor also had a buyer call her asking if she could buy that property from her!!

That's a good idea! I may use that as a last resort. I've found a few numbers to owners. It appears they have had the same phone number for a long time
