Too many people waste 30 hrs or more a week watching TV
Use this wasted time to learn and study your REInvesting materials and home values in your area. Go to open houses, practice calling FSBO and become comfortable with asking questions and qualifying the property, seller and buyers.
Learn how to use your city/county website to research properties.
Go to foreclosure auctons and talk with the bidders- they are cash buyers. Build that important 'buyers list'.
Make flyers and make offers.
Take Action!

As one of Dean's coaches, I whole heartedly second what Mike says here. I remember doing an event with Matt, and we were talking about TV. Neither one of us knew what kind of programs were on TV, because it has been years since either one of us have watched any TV. (regularly of course)
It is amazing to see how much time is lost to sitting on a couch and watching shows. I remember when I bought cable about 10 years ago, there was a period of about three days I didn't have to be at work, and I was shocked at how much time I spent watching the TV. There was ALWAYS something worth watching on. It could have been sports, science shows, history shows, etc.... all valuable information and entertainment! However, that is three days I'll never get back, and there is no telling what I could have accomplished in those three days if I had been out making calls or doing deals.
And the crazy thing is, just ONE deal can prime the pump for unlimited transactions and wealth building. So get off the couch, or at the very least, budget a certain amount of time for your one or two favorite shows, and get out and work during the time you used to watch the news and other programs "just because they were on...".
Get out and do a deal. Cut out the TV!!!!
Happy Hunting!
I've not watched TV for 2 years now.
Have a foster daughter since July last year and she not once has asked to watch TV.
We have a ton of things to do and talk about. There's no time for TV. We're so much happier. Public radio and the internet headlines give me enough of a glimpse and let me
decide what to read/watch.
No matter where you are or how difficult things appear to you, you are ALWAYS being moved toward magnificence. Always.
I spend much of my time on rei, so I don't have time to watch tv; I do turn it on, but it's basically background noise while I'm on the internet looking at properties, etc.
And I don't watch the news because it's either depressing or just plain stupid news.
No time to waste now... learning and progressing.
