New to this site and to real estate

This is the best site out there. Everything you need to know you can find out here for "FREE"...Dean's books can be your bible. Read the examples of the people doing their 1st deals. Then pick someone and duplicate their success!
I love Maryland...I come over all the time!
Also, look for a REI group in your area and attend the meetings. You will be amazed with the people you will meet that you can network with. Building a Buyer's list is a good place to start.

adapting and being independent is also a part of being in RE. Getting things done without help

elix, thats the purpose of the blogs. To network with other real estate investors and share ideas...Obviously , I know google exists. I want to hear what other real estate investors think are good sites, I am sure Dean knows he is not the only real estate networking site in town buddy.

If you want to network with investors, find what local REI clubs are available and attend their meetings, Meet these people face to face. Go to auctions, seminars, anywhere you can meet actual, active investors. There are a lot of so called investors that blog about their millions yet have never done a real deal in their lives. The things that Dean and his academy teach are what you need to know to be successful in this business, you will only hear more of the same and maybe less elsewhere! Go through the forums on this site, every question you have will more than likely already been answered there.

I don't think you understand. These people are all for helping and networking with you, sharing ideas and providing leadership and being mentors. They just want you to take action and learn this. You have no idea how many people come out of the woodwork ask questions which they answer in great detail and then those people NEVER come back. They just disappear. Every question or link you want or have ever had can be found in the forums if you type it in the search box. Go find the info and prove yourself and prove that you are not just here to dip your feet in something that may intrest you. These people are truly great so no offesne is meant toward you by anyone here.
