Hi. A few weeks ago, probably more, Dean wrote an article on "Dividing your week into thirds." He suggested setting different hours for certain days and events according to your preference. It was a wonderful idea to me as I seem to lose valuable time -
doing who-knows-what!? I can get fixated on one subject or project and then, bam!, three-quarters of the day is gone and I didn't get anything else accomplished. It's very frustrating and time consuming in trying to make up that time. So when I read what Dean posted it seemed to be the answer to my prayers except that I lost it, or didn't save it or put it in a folder that I can't find. Anyway, I was wondering if any of DG's family had a copy of it or knew what the three divisions were? I would greatly appreciate reading it again.
I am a new member and this is my first post, or question, but it definitely will not be the last! There is so much to learn from the wealth of experiences of all the members. The one area I really enjoy is asking a question to a senior member and having a direct and honest answer. Actually, the whole site is inspiring!
So, thank you in advance, for any assistance you could give.
A future investor,

Because i'm an agent and sometimes have up to 10 appts, either or residential sales or rentals on my plate for the day, I normally arrange my schedule up to 2 days beforehand.
Mondays & thursdays will be looking for buyers
Tuesdays & fridays will be for properties
Wednesdays for tying up loose ends or canvassing
Don't go crazy and do everything 12 hours straight every single day. You'll burn out within two weeks when no results come and then you'll think it can't happen blah blah blah blah. Go at a pace you enjoy and if you get tired, take a break, relax, spend time with your family, etc
Work smart

I'm also looking for some time management tips. No matter what I try to do to manage my time, I am interrupted on average every 3 minutes by a toddler, preschooler, 5th or 6th grader. (this I know from doing this week's challenge! I didn't realize it was as much as it was until I started writing it down!) Someone had told me about a folder method in my journal and the post disappeared somehow ????? But, I could really use some recommendations for books on how to stay on task and focused with constant interruption. Its one of my most challenging obstacles! It takes me 10 times as long to do things as everyone else it seems!
