preforeclosure

I looked up a woman's name in the county records becuase she is in preforclosure. The records show that she received a mortgage back in '05 for 202k, one year later there is a mortgage release, stisfaction document of the same amount. How can she be behind in payments if it's paid off? What am I missing here?

Hi James maybe you should do some more checking, the title company they used, I would contact the Lady an let her know, honesty never hurt anyone honest an you may get many Blessing in return out of a pure heart, Jim
