Offlinemy name is leon and i live in Silver Spring ,MD.Father wife and 3 kids 2 boys 1 girl,lovem with all my heart.I am the dad that want to do and give them thing that i never had.Financially in todays world it is hard. My 9-5 is not cutting it, also struggling to keep my home and not even getting in to my other struggles, O'yeah i also live with my mother space is tight.
RealEstate Investing i know is my ticket to financial happiness.Dont know what to do. I see homes for sale ,FSBO PROPERTIES FOR RENT LEASE WITH OPTION TO OWN OR RENT.
Money for the SUCCESS ACADEMY i have but do to finances scared to give up that money up,bout i know that the knowledge that i will recieve will be worth its weight in gold.
I drive to work every day and see homes on the market. Some homes i see have been on the market all summer there is even one that been on the market 4 a year and has had a price reduction.
I heard that you should start small so i'll BIRD DOG for an investor if you'll have me , i like to drive kids in sport all over the place.

my advice: if you need a push to get started, you probably aren't quite ready for the Success Academy yet. The coaches will not hold your hand nor will they hand you a deal on a platter; they will, however, be there to give you advice on any deals that you may find. You will be expected to read the lessons and do the assignments at your own pace, and go out and take action! (on your own).
I recommend that you re-read DG's books-everything you need to know is in them. The more you read them the more sense everything will make, and it will become familiar to you.
Also, you should make an effort to join a REI club in your area and partner up with an experienced investor; ask if you can help them find deals, and if you do, they will happily mentor you.
Read the threads here from some of the successful investors, you can learn a lot from them!

We all need a push and getting started is and can be half the battle. I appreciate Valerie's good advice. Go back and reread your DG books. Everything is outlined there for you. Bird-dogging is a good way to get started. I'd also recommend working Assignment deals with local investors. The key is to get started and start connecting with others in the RE industry in your area. Real Estate investment clubs - there are many ways to find investment clubs in your area, you can start with these websites: reiclub.com, reiclubdirectory.com and creonline.com. Take a few weeks and focus on building an investors list - call on ads online (craigslist.com) that say "We buy houses" etc. connect with these investors and find out what they are looking for or what types of properties they are investing in. Buyers = Money.
Sometimes we have too much information and no direction. Focus on the basics and build from there. Whether you are bird dogging or doing Assignments of Contract deals, it all starts with your buyers list. Build your buyers list and doors will open from there. One step at a time.
