1st pre-interview to realtor is done!

1st pre-interview to realtor is done!

Wow. I've never felt so nervous in my life. I did the other day, when I called to interview 3 prop. mngmt. companies. I got to talk with him, while I was leaving him a voicemail, so now he has that message, too. He was on the road, but had a few minutes to talk. It sounded like it went well, though. He wants me to shoot him an email, and then we can talk again maybe monday? It's funny, because he was asking most or all the questions. Definately sounds like he knows his stuff. I didn't get to hardly ask him any of the questions on my sheet.

I kinda made it a goal to talk to 2 realtors yesterday, but that didn't happen. All I can say is wow, and thank you for helping me get passed these milestones. The only problem I have now, is no buyers. But, I have 2 homes I want to see if I can get comps for, as one of them looks really good. Have a great weekend.

I think so

Hi Valerie,

It feels like it's my time to shine. The article I found & posted on here the other day (about F.E.A.R.) might've had something to do with it, too. I also just got off the phone with another wholesaler, and it went pretty good, too. This encouragement keeps me going, and it's great. Thank you.

There you go young man

There you go young man, we are proud of you Dallas. The talking part does get easier, but Im like you. I have 5 buyers, but not totally qualified to the point I need to. That is where Im a little cautious...talking to potential buyers. But if we dont project confidence to them, they wont take us serious?
Got to build relationships.

Btw, how did your REI meeting go? That was this week wasnt it?

That’s the way to do it

That’s the way to do it Dallas…you have to go out on the limb to pick the fruit!

I’m with Steve…that limb’s a little wobbly as far as real buyers go, right now! We just need to take action, build relationships and network as we go. In doing so, we’ll gain the confidence needed and our lists will grow.

BTW; always remember what Michael Mangham keeps drilling us with. Find that GREAT deal and the buyers will show up!! I’m working on two and hopefully, I’ll have offers in by Monday am!

Dallas, make it a goal (not kinda) to set appointments with the Realtors. The REI Club is a great place to meet them, also. Be sure and practice Matt’s Script beforehand where it flows and you can lead the conversation where YOU want it to go. Remember that it won’t go “perfect”, but just roll with it. I think you’ll find that they know a lot of people and are more than willing to help.

Keep up the great work!

Thanks, steve!

I went to my 1st meeting, but I didn't go "mingle" like I probably should've done, but it will get better. You're right about the confidence. I just kept thing... "Just do it and get it over with". That meeting was last week in phoenix, though. No buyers (a couple wholesalers though), and that's about it. But, once I get him going, hopefully it will work great.

Thanks, Billy!

That's true. I don't have that value yet, but I will. Where in Kingman is this 5 acres at?

Dallas, John and Greg

Dallas: Just a note and kuddos on your progress. U mentioned no cash buyers at the REI, but remember the cash buyers dont need to network. But they are tuned into the REI club and once you have built a friendship with the other members, they will lead you to some of the buyers. Its like the how to eat an elephant term, but since Im not crazy about elephant, I use chocolate cake instead! Smiling

John: Great advise that all of us must follow if we're going to succeed.
Let me know how your offers go. GOOD LUCK!

Greg: You are right, we need to use any prop necessary to polish and improve our conversations with buyers/sellers. Btw, I went to your profile journal and it is full of interesting and very useful infor. ****Btw, every time I look at your pic I get thirsty b/c beer is my passion. Ill bet its not Miller High Life. Lol
