My "Why Not Me?" Journal/Blog

My "Why Not Me?" Journal/Blog

Yesterday I commented in someone else's blog the idea of having the thought, "Why not me?" when we consider making a move that will improve the quality of our lives.
Interestingly, I was watching the last few minutes of "The Big Idea with Donnie Deutsch" and, there it was again as Donnie said to someone on the show in talking about his desire to get started in one area, "I asked myself, 'Why not me?'"
I also was listening to a speaker on a recording the other day and he said something along these lines as he also quoted someone that he used to listen to: We have a tendency to undersell ourselves on what we are able to accomplish and oversell what others are able to accomplish. --- In other words, we have a habit of looking at others (in whatever area of success) and saying, "Wow, I wish I could do what they are doing - they must have special talents!" and yet also saying, "But I could never do that!"

Why not you? Why not me?

All of this is about a mind change! I hope, by writing in my journal/blog whenver I get the chance that I can both share thoughts that are helping me with this mind change and also help someone here at the same time.

I read somewhere else once this thought: "You change the way you think and you change your life."

So, what are the excuses that are holding me back? What are the excuses that are holding you back? Isn't it time we stopped making excuses, asked ourselves, "Why NOT me?" and then acted accordingly?

Here's to the "transformation" by the "renewing of our mind" to quote the "Good Book".

That's the question that changed my life. I thought I'd NEVER be a homeowner let alone a successful investor. The minute I started asking myself "Why not me?" my whole world changed. Before I knew it, I owned my first home, then I sold it made a profit and found another one, assigned it and made another profit all in the span of 18 months!! I keep a copy of the checks to remind myself of what I accomplished once I set my mindset to the why not me channel instead of the not me channel. So... To the renewing of our minds!! Thanks for posting this blog and sharing with us.
God bless,

mspillman, SOOO true.

Thank you for starting this journal/blog. I think especially those who have spent most of their life helping others, some people are just in the mindset of being the servant or keeping themselves in that "humble" state, not realizing that they deserve and can obtain all that God has for them here. While success is not measured by material wealth, there is nothing saying it is wrong for a person to enjoy all that He has made WHILE helping others. I might be way off what you were getting at, but you made me think of this, Mike, and I appreciate the input you've been giving to the forums.
So why NOT you, why NOT me? We've all got what it takes! Smiling

God bless,

Rina

Do I Deserve the Wealth?

Rina commented on our tendency at times to feel as if we don't deserve the wealth or that we should not "want" the wealth. It was not said exaclty like this, but I think I have fairly represented the thought there.
Too many times we have misquoted what is said in the Good Book by saying, "Money is the root of all evil." Actually what is said there is, "The LOVE of money is the root of all evil." And that, my friend, is a big difference, is it not?
I was listening to a speaker the other day and he said something along these lines, "Money can make a wonderful servant and money can make a terrible master!" So true. This same speaker also said something along these lines: "We have the ability to help far more people when we have money than when we don't."

I understand that some don't have this conflict, but I also understand that many - probably based on the way they were raised - DO have this conflict. The key is this: how are you with money now? You see, becoming wealthy won't make you a nicer person or a worse person - it will simply amplify who you already are.

So, wealth? ABSOLUTELY! Why NOT me?

The good that can be done can be seen here in the "free rent for a year" program that Dean has done (I can't remember the official name of it) and the desire by others here to duplicate that. How wonderful! How marvelous!

And we have all been given a tool to achieve those goals. An opportunity. A chance. But the only one that can take advantage of the tools, opportunity and chance is YOU. No one else. Exciting and frightening at the same time.

But remember - WHY NOT ME?

Have a great day friends!

You're so wise. It is how you think about money that keeps it from coming to you. Sayings like money doesn't grow on trees, you think I'm made of money, I don't have money for that, are an indication of how you feel about money. If you don't change those sayings, your beliefs won't change either. So start telling yourself money comes easily and frequently, I have an abundance of money and it's on it's way to me now, I can afford that, I can buy this. Even if it's not true in your current circumstances, because circumstances are always subject to change, and that can happen in the blink of an eye!
Continued success and blessings,

Why Negativity Surrounds Us

We all face it and struggle with it and wish there were a way to do without it. NEGATIVITY from others. The only true way I know to get away from it is to completely separate yourself from everyone else....but then how would you do this (or any other) business?
So, the fact remains we must face it and face it head on - and with head held high! Here are a few suggestions and thoughts to keep in mind:
1. Fill your head with good stuff! Read, listen and/or watch as much positive stuff that you can. Authors/speakers that focus on the positive and reject the negative will help you keep your mind in the right state while others do all they can to keep you where they are. This may also mean NOT reading, listening and/or watching particular things. One good way to dertermine if you should NOT fill your head with it or waste your time with it is this - how do you feel afterwards? Uplifted or depressed and/or discouraged?
2. Ralize it's hard to soar with the eagles when surrounded by a bunch of turkeys! This really goes back to #1 because we have to "make up" sometimes for all of the negativity that surrounds us.
3. Realize - along this same line - that many people do NOT want to see you improve your life. Why? Because it forces them to focus on their own life and many people don't like what they see. On top of that they REALLY don't like looking at their life and realizing that they are not willing to do anything about it to improve it - like you are. So, the easier thing to do (instead of making the effort to improve their life) is to hurl as much negativity your way to try to stop you from your journey. DON'T ALLOW IT! Go back and see step #1 again and surround yourself with postive thinking and positive, like-minded people.
4. VOTE YOURSELF IN. We have an election coming up soon. Yet, everyday we ELECT how we live our lives. Isn't it time you (all of us) voted ourselves in to this life we seek? Decide. Elect yourself to live a life of happiness and prosperity and do not let others derail you. We all know what "mud slinging" is in the political world...why do we think it will be any different if we ELECT to change and improve our lives?
5. NEVER EVER GIVE UP! 'Nuff said about that, right?

We all have the power to choose. Most here seem to have chosen to change their lives and work toward that goal. Each day is a new day with new opportunities and new challenges. You can. I can. WE can.

Keep up the great work and MAKE IT an awesome day!

Mike

It's TODAY!

Today. There's only one of those, you know? Think about it - there is only one today, and THIS is "that" day!
The time period 24 hours ago is now called "yesterday" and the 24 hour period into the future is called "tomorrow".
I heard someone say once, "TODAY is the TOMORROW you worried about YESTERDAY!" Wow, that can get a bit confusing, huh?

Simply put. Whatever it is you have set up for yourself to do, do all you can TODAY. There's only one and it will never be returned.

Think about it and MAKE IT AN AWESOME DAY!

Motivational Coach?

Well, I'm not getting paid for it yet - but yeah, I am! I believe that I have the ability to help movitivate and encourage others and I have "voted" myself into that role AND I WILL be paid handsomely for it one day. This will be just one of my streams of income and r.e.i. will be another of several. I am glad that you enjoy and benefit from my posts - I know they are not the typical "here's what I did in r.e.i. today" postings, but just like in Dean's book where he dedicated several chapters to "right thinking" subjects, it's all part of the process, right?

Spread the word! *LOL* I do hope that my postings will catch on and many others along with yourself will be encouraged by my thoughts!

Keep up the great work and MAKE it an AWESOME day! (I'll explain that catch phrase of mine in tomorrow's posting)

I check in every day to read your new stuff and to re-read your earlier posts. I think a lot of people are. It's really great to find motivation/encouragement here in the forums. I think that's what helps me the most. And it's not like reading a book. ( although books are great, too) It's living, breathing motivation from active site members. Just does wonders. Smiling

Thanks again. (You, too, Elena.)

Oh yeah, definitely

I agree! It's way different than reading it in a book. Without my cyber family and the support they've given me (you too Ri) I would NOT stay motivated each day. It feeds the need that gives me incentive to move forward. My real friends and even my family don't do that right now. Teenage twin girls tends to drain me, so I come here to get my batteries charged again. Thanks to all my ever ready bunnies... LOL! Eye-wink

Thermometer or Thermostat?

Well, shoot - after reading Elena's last post it made something "click" in my head that I wanted to share - and, yeah, I'll still post tomorrow on my "catch phrase" (which actually has a lot to do with what I'm about to post).

I'm sure you've all heard this before, but it's still worth thinking about.
Are you a THERMOMETER or a THERMOSTAT?
Think about it for a moment:

What does a THERMOMETER do? It simply let's you know of it's surroundings - what the temperature is. The thermometer has no control over it's environment, it is actually controlled by it's environment. If it's hot, the mercury goes up and if it's cold, then the mercury goes down. Many people are like that... are you? Many people live a life with no control and they allow others and everything else around them to "control" how they act or fail to act. "The economy is bad" or "I had a bad childhood" or "My job sucks!" or any other number of things that people use to justify their inactivity and failure to make a change.

What does a THERMOSTAT do? You know, right? A thermostat actually CONTROLS and SETS the environment. The thermostat sets the environment while the thermometer is controlled by that same environment. What do you do if it's too warm in your house? You go to the thermostat, crank it down a bit and it changes the environment/temperature in your house.

We have the CHOICE to be either! I know that many are in tough, tough, situations. But it's kinda like the old idea that if you ever waited until you could AFFORD to get married you'd never get married and if you ever waited until you could AFFORD to have kids then you'd never have kids. We cannot wait for everything around us to align itself perfectly for us to act! We must make it happen...take an account of what around us needs to change so that we can create the environment for our success. Oh yes, I know something we cannot control such as bone heads at our work. HOWEVER, we CAN choose how we will allow that to affect our attitude and our actions.

So, which are you?

THERMOSTATS UNITE! Smiling

Mike

The Choice Is Yours....."Have it" or "Make it"

For some time now I have done my best to try to say some things a little differently than before. For example, when someone asks, "How are you today?" too often I have replied in the past, "Oh, not too bad." What does THAT mean?? More importantly, what message does that send to others and what message does that send to myself? So, I try to answer that question differently regardless of how I feel, how tired I am or whatever other "outside influences" may try to affect me.

(Here's an example I am dealing with right now even as I type this. I have had several interruptions this morning and, even as I type there is so much going on around me (which usually isn't) that I can hardly even think. This does usually happen on Tuesday and I have to really struggle to keep my thoughts where they need to be.)

Along the lines of what I was talkig about in the first paragraph I began to think about another phrase I - along with others (and likely you, too) - use just about every day. Upon departing company many times we say something along the lines of, "Have a nice day!"
Now, that's not bad. There's really nothing wrong with it. It's not negative, we are wishing a good thing on the person with whom we are talking!
But, a few years back I began to think about the idea of "having" a nice day and what that meant to me. For me, it seemed that I was taking it and not really involving myself in it. Does that make any sense?

For example, you may visit someone at their home and they may ask you, "Would you like to have a piece of pie?" And you may respond, "Sure, I'll have some of that." You took what was offered to you, but you did nothing to make it happen.

Oh, absolutely, I'll take a nice day anytime it's offered! But, what about all of those people that don't offer that to you? What about all of those other people that, through their words and/or actions do everything they can to RUIN your day? What about all of the negative things that surround us that would hinder us from "having" a nice day? (If you've not read it yet, go read my last post before this one on "Thermometer or Thermostat?").

So, I began to reword what I offered to others. Sure, it's for them but it's also to help me think right. Now, as often as possible (yeah, I still slip into the same old "have a nice routine" from time to time) I say, "MAKE IT an AWESOME day!"

Think about it. I CHOOSE to MAKE my day wonderful and awesome REGARDLESS of what goes on around me. And, in doing so, many times I offer the same postive thoughts to others which, in turn, helps them to MAKE their day just as awesome.

Some may say, "Oh, that's such a little thing!" Small things matter! Ever stub your toe? The other day I was walking in my yard with some sandals on and apparently a bee got caught up between the sandal and the top of my foot. Think about it - that bee is tiny compared to me and then when you consider the size of that little stinger....it's really such a small thing! But don't you know that "small thing" had me hopping around the yard in agony? I'm sure it looked quite funny and would have been amusing to you if you had seen it, but the point is, small things DO matter.

So I encourage you and challenge you to use your words carefully. Feel free to use my little catch phrase OR come up with one of your own that fits what you want to express. Key thing is this: it's YOUR choice!

So, regardless of what is going on in your world, MAKE it an AWESOME day!

Mike

I will definitely choose to MAKE my day an AWESOME one, and choose to believe those I come in contact with will be affected positively, too. Smiling
I think you have a domino effect (one direction or the other.)

Mike, Keep up the good work/word.

Rina

P.S. Hope your toe feels better.

Procrastination - Part I (or is that now Part 2?)

Procrastination. Wow, that's something I'm guessing just about every one of us here struggle with from time to time if not all of the time. We keep putting off the things that need to be done or, sometimes that we WANT to do.

However, from what I have seen in my own life - when it's something we WANT to do as opposed to something we NEED to do, we usually get it done, right?
So, perhaps the trick is changing it to where even our "needs" are also our "wants". Think about it.

Ever PROCRASTINATE on doing your taxes? You know you NEED to do them but you don't really WANT to do them. However, if we change our thinking a little then not only do we NEED to do them but we will WANT to do them because....
a. we'll get our return faster and refund (if available) faster!
b. Even if there's not a refund we can have the peace of mind knowing the IRS won't come looking for us for late or unpaid taxes.
c. We simply got that task out of the way!

I read where someone the other day talked about a different course they ordered that sat around their house for 6 months. I wonder why? Gladly they said that when they got Dean's book they read it right away. But, I know that there are many that have gotten Dean's book and have yet to crack it open. Why?

THE UNKNOWN.
FEAR.

A few years back I read something that has really stuck in my mind and I heard it while listening to another speaker just the other day. Do you know what F.E.A.R. stands for?
False Evidence Appearing Real
Isn't that so true?

So many times, the thing we are afraid of that causes us to PROCRASTINATE isn't really real after all! Haven't you found that out to be true? I deal with it and so do you. Those that have forged ahead on deals can tell you about their FEAR and their worries and concerns that they were able to overcome afterall!

So, what's holding you back? What's keeping you from doing TODAY what needs to be done TODAY?

I finally bit the bullet with one situation yesterday that I have been putting off and putting off. I knew I was going to be entering this into my journal and thought, "You big dufus! Believe what you say!". And I did. And, guess what? My fears were simply not justified. And, guess how I felt afterwards? Great? Sure. But I also felt ridiculous that I allowed this FEAR to overcome me.

So, see? I'm still learning as we all are. But places like this are GREAT to help with that, wouldn't you agree?

Look at that "thing" close. Why are you procrastinating and what are you afraid of? Write down what the FEAR is and truly break it down and see if that fear is real? Chances are, it won't be.

Thanks for reading, I hope it sparks something in YOUR mind and helps YOU to "think a little different"!

Make it an AWESOME DAY -

So true...

So true Mike. I know there were a couple times during my last deal I closed my eyes, took a leap of faith and when I opened them I landed on both feet.(Figuratively speaking)
So sometimes you just have to say to yourself, "what have I got to lose?" or "what's the worst that can happen?" and jump.

JUMP

Mike & Elena,
you are so right. Sometimes you've got to look FEAR into the eye and JUMP right at it. When you pass right through the "smoke" and land on the other side, it's such a great feeling!

For years we went to ValleyFair (it's a big amusement park) every summer with our kids. For several years in a row, we would watch as people rode this thing called the Ripcord. They hoist you up in a harness on the end of a long cable to the top of a 180-foot tower. Then when they count down through the loudspeaker 3...2...1, YOU pull the ripcord and go flying through the air between these 2 towers. It looks like certain death. Anyway, the kids each went on a couple of times and would plead with me to try it. Well, I'm deathly (not quite) afraid of heights, so it was always, "No way!" So, last year I finally gave in and said my goodbyes. I literally had tears in my eyes the whole 3 minutes it took to get to the top. My friend, her daughter, and I were all harnessed together, pressed tight.
I thought "We're gonna slip out!", "The cable is gonna break!", We're gonna hit the tower!", "They're not gonna be able to stop us!"
But of, course by then it was too late. The countdown came 3...2...1 "I" pulled the cord, closed my eyes, and lost my breath on the way down. But THEN, it was SO cool! I felt like a bird, back and forth overlooking the whole park! Anyway, my whole point is it took my kids PLEADING, but ultimately ME deciding to DO IT. And it got me over yet one more of my fears and turned out to be an exhilerating experience.
I have to say that's how it feels when you find and close on a great deal in real estate. Sound dramatic? It is. Smiling So, everyone, don't jip yourself out of that experience because of procrastination or fear. Just JUMP!!!!

and have fun,

Rina

GOING TO BE AN AWESOME WEEKEND

Hey guys...wanted to briefly share with you that I will be in Dallas, TX. for an amazing seminar on powerful, positive thinking!!
I am looking so forward to this and I feel that what I learn there will finally help me to "jump" (as Rina put in the above post) on the real estate opportunites as well as other income stream opportunities.
Anyway, I'm sure I'll be sharing all kinds of good stuff once I get back but I wanted to share my excitement about this with you.
So much I could say about how my thinking has changed over the past several years....but I think most of us here have experienced that to some degree.

So....you guys have an AWESOME weekend...I know I will!

Until Monday!
Make it an awesome day!

I'm Back!

Wow, it just hit me as I typed in that title to today's journal/blog how it goes way beyond an announcement letting you know that I am back from my recent trip to Dallas.
Have you ever asked yourself whatever happened to the "real" you? You know what I mean, don't you? Somewhere along the way you lost your dreams and your focus and, in so doing, you lost your life! (Disclaimer: I know that many here are reclaiming those things and YES!, more power to those that are!).
So, the good news beyond coming back from a trip is the fact that I AM BACK! Isn't that a good feeling? To know that YOU now have the power (it was always there but you/we allowed someone to steal it away)to be YOU! The YOU that you were CREATED TO BE!

One thing that stood out loud and clear from all of the speakers I heard this weekend (and, yes, some of them were dealing with real estate and it was amazing how many that didn't talk about real estate are or have been involved in real estate) was the fact of how important it is to have MULTIPLE STREAMS OF INCOME!

What does that mean? Simply put, having more than one way to make money!
Why is that important? Simply put again, if your JOB is your only source of income what happens if you lose that job? Diaster!

So, even for those looking to rid themselves of that old J-O-B there is still the need to have more than that one stream of income. I read this the other day that I thought was pretty interesting. Just for example, if you are buying and renting/flipping house what do you do with all of the junk/stuff that the old owner may have left behind? Have a big yard sale? OR perhaps sell it on E-bay? That's right, you can have another source of income simply by getting rid of all of that clutter. Don't have time? Let someone else do it for you and give them a percentage!

Are you thinking outside of the box yet on this? What are ways that you can expand your real estate investing business to make more streams of income? I can just about promise you that if you take a few minutes to think about it your mind will suddenly explode with ideas! When that happens, have a piece of paper handy so that you can write them all down.

And, finally, must to prove another point that Dean talks about in his book:
One speaker that I listened to was promoting his business of training people to become professional speakers. He told his background and talked about his involvement in real estate and the tons of $$ that he has made there (I think he is still involved).
He told about buying his first property with no money down. Anyway, later on in his presentation he asked the audience what they would INVEST their money in when they began to make the kind of money that was possible with his program.
I excitedly answered (yeah, out loud even!) "REAL ESTATE!" He looked at me with a look of disbelief on his face and said, "Real estate? REAL ESTATE??"
He threw his head back in disbelief and said, "Did you not listen to what I said? You don't have to have money to buy real estate!"

Well, I did fell kind of silly at the moment, but it just reemphasized what Dean and others have said all along. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO HAVE MONEY TO INVEST IN REAL ESTATE! Think about it....all of these people (like Dean and this speaker to whom I'm referring) say it and they are making a fortune doing it - SO IT MUST BE TRUE!

Wow. Lesson learned. I'll be sharing more things I learned and more postive thoughts that were shared during the weekend.

But for now - back to the main and first point I made. Where are YOU? The REAL you? Congratualtions and continued success to those that are reclaiming the REAL you. And to those that are still in a daze wondering, "What happened? Where did I go?" I want to encourage you to step out and take control of YOUR life! You CAN do it! You MUST do it! You WILL do it!

Keep moving forward and MAKE IT AN AWESOME DAY!

Mike

3 Words That Will Keep You Where You Don't Want To Be

Hi guys.....

I heard a speaker over the weekend that talked about 3 little words that will hinder from ever making progress. In other words, these 3 little words will keep you where you DON'T want to be!

What are they?

Wait - Watch - Wish

Wait:
That's right. Just wait. Put it off. There's always tomorrow right? (go back and read my above entry on "Today") What's the hurry? Let me ask you something - what has WAITING done for you? How many years have flown by while you and I sat back and "waited"? Oh yes, in America we have a WEIGHT problem.....but, for many of us we also have a WAIT problem!

Watch:
"Wow, look at what they're accomplishing!" Look, look, look, look.......Have you ever notice how much $$ we spend WATCHING others do things? We PAY to go to ballgame and watch others play the game. We PAY to go "watch" a movie. We pay to go watch and hear someone sing or play an instrument. We even PAY others to tell us how they are DOING what they are DOING while we are sitting by and watching! Think about this in every example I just gave.....are the one's INVOLVED on the other end paying? Heck no! They're getting PAID and likely getting paid very nicely!

Wish:
Go back up to the preceeding point..."Wow, look at what they're accomplishing...I WISH I could do that, too!"
Hello?
Why can't you? Why can't I? (again, go back and read the first entry - "Why Not Me?").
A wish is just that - a wish. There is absolutely NO ACTION or DETERMINATION behind a wish. We just "wish" and maybe a little special fairy of some kind will come along and grant us our wish. What fairytale world are YOU living in? Eye-wink

We all have to get past those 3 words if we ever hope to accomplish anything! Oh, and again, just in case anyone is thinking - "Boy, this guy has a lot to say for someone that isn't making any deals!".
That's o.k. My life is changing in a powerful and postitive way. New things and new doors are being openened to me each and every day. I just came back from lunch with my wife and 17 year old son and we are all planning our futures and our thinking is getting further outside the box. It's exciting! It's exhilarating. And - thing is - I AM looking at opportunities in the real estate market. I AM doing something about it.

I just haven't told YOU about it........................ YET! Eye-wink

Hope these words will benefit someone today!

Make it an AWESOME day (who else is gonna' do that for you?)

The Big Oak Tree

One day recently I was driving through my small town and passed by an area and something seemed to be "different" but I couldn't put my finger on what it was at first.

Then it dawned on me.

Where once had stood a massive oak tree was now nothing but a stump! I literally yelled out in my truck, "Why did you DO that???"

Now, a smaller tree had been cut down at my local bank and they told me it was due to the fact it had been struck by lightning. From what I could tell, the oak tree had not. It simply was cut down for....well, actually, I still can't figure out why! It was a massive oak that was sitting street side in front of a business. This business had taken over a store that had been vacated so there was no clearning of the land to build a new building or pave a new parking lot. This tree gave shade - LOTS of shade! I'm sure countless birds perched in it's brances each and every day. It was huge and beautiful and now all that is left is an ugly stump. The only thing I can figure out is that the company had moved some items out by the street and perhaps they thought the tree a) either took up too much space or b)blocked the view from some of their items. Again, I still don't know.

The point is this. YOU are an oak tree! Your beliefs and habits are what make you strong! You do all you can to continually build yourself up with the hope and promise of providing shelter and shade for you, your family and others along the way.

But beware!

There are those out there that will do anything and everything they can to cut you down and leave nothing but a stump - just a "reminder" of what you once were. DON'T LET THEM DO IT!

Too, there are just things in life that will work against you and weaken you if you allow it. It's like one of my friends put it when we were discussing standing strong about something. He said that some of his friends said this to him concerning something he stood firmly on: "You're an oak! But the termites are eating away at the base and the wind is blowing hard!"
In other words, they thought he was was beginning to weaken and it would be just a matter of time before he "caved in".

When the wind blows, allow your roots to run deeper!

Don't allow the "termites" to infest you and eat at you from inside!

You're an oak! Remember that! Know that! Live that! And take comfort and pride in what you provide to you, your family and those around you due to that fact!

Here's to all my fellow oaks!

Make it an AWESOME day! (who else is gonna' do that for you?)

Turning GOALS into REALITY

Wow, no comments for several posts now from others..... Well, I am mostly posting these things for my benefit but hope to continue to encourage others along the way in the process, so I will continue to do so! Smiling

By the way, just thought I'd share that I called on one house in town that had signs posted everywhere that it was for sale and had owner financing...but it's not a good deal for me. ALSO, I plan to call and possibly look at one that is for sale by owner and shows some signs of financial need. By that I mean I had also noticed that recently they also had both of their automobiles for sell - which tells me something has them financially strapped. I'll update you on if it turns out to be a viable option.

But here's today's thought to share with you.
We all have GOALS and DREAMS. Perhaps, like me, you have a board up that shows your goals on a timeline...projections of when you expect those goals to come to fruition! Reality.
As I was writing on my board the other day the thought went through my head that what I was writing was a "projection" and that when it happened I could write the word "actual" in it's place and show what the "actual" amount was that was gained. In other words, the GOAL would then be a REALITY or an ACTUALITY.
Look at the word ACTUAL or ACTUALITY and you will see the word ACT!

In order for our goals and dreams to move beyond being simply goals and dreams - WE MUST ACT!

I want to encourage you to step out and put ACTION into your day, each and every day! Doing so will move you from the list of projections, goals and dreams into the world of ACTUALITY and REALITY!

Oh yeah!!!

Make it an AWESOME day! (Who else is gonna' do it for you?)

Thanks for all that you share, and for Heaven's sake (ours, actually) DON'T STOP. Smiling

I appreciate knowing it's still getting read.....I guess I'm a bit slow, but, WHERE at the top do I see how much it's being read? I just don't see it and I KNOW when you tell me I'll be a bit embarassed because it will be right under my nose! *LOL*
Have a super weekend and MAKE it an AWESOME day!
