I'm just a newb here, but, don't get confused about the math and concepts.
A concept is: you open a bank account and put money in it. You write checks and money gets transferred to someone else's bank account. You record your checks to keep track of them.
The math is: you record your checks and deposits to add or subtract from the current balance to tell you the exact dollar amount you have access to.
The different parts of real estate is pretty much the same. If you can understand the concept part of what is going on, the math part makes a lot more sense.
Don't confuse math with concept
Hi Sonia,
I'm just a newb here, but, don't get confused about the math and concepts.

Good luck with the investing journey.
