I am hoping to Generate some Real Estate intrests here on the Space Coast and keep all informed of my further adventures in Real Estate with DG.com. As I have mentioned in my Bio (http://www.deangraziosi.com/users/runltd3) I have spent over 10 years in Asia, partly with the military and mostly teaching English to foriegn students. This may not be so relevant except for the fact that it is the primary basis for my "Why". No.... I dont really want to go back to Asia to teach English again, but I really would not mind doing that again. However, I did see and live in a situation, while I lived over there, that I would like to improve on and not really repeat. No....I am not interested in Foriegn Aid ... I just want to help those that I know and have lived with as so many I have seen in DG.com have done in the past. You see .... one thing I have noticed on this site is that so many of you that learn from Dean and become successful often have a reason other than just themselves to become successful for. Those for me are not just here in the U.S. but also overseas, where I spent over 10 years of my life, and till now have maintained contact with and supported since 2002 (when I came back to the U.S.). One thing I did not really realize when I did come back (not of my own choice) was that the cost of living would have risen so high.That is not only true here in the U.S. but overseas as well. When I left America in 1992 one person could still support themselves with one job and maybe even lend to the support of another." Two could still live as comfortably as one". That fact is obviously no longer true. During my time here, since my return, I have had to maintain, at times, three jobs at one time, just to support myself on just a minimal basis. I was almost on an even footing when I began working Real Estate as an agent in 2005 but then the bottom fell out of the market and, I can see back then, that I did not have the best teacher or support system.
In 2011, as I discovered Dean and this website, I was preparing to make another run at the Real Estate market. Then I fell.... Literally,I fell while working at my day job.With a broken finger and a broken foot, That set me on my back for over six months. During my recovery my day-job kept me going but just on a minimal basis and often less than that. When I finally did get back on two feet I fell again. This time mentally. I lost sight of those I loved overseas and almost lost sight of my dreams. I was ready to trade one dream for another. Sometimes that can be good and sometimes not. Fortunatly, for me ,"they" were not ready to take on what I wanted to take on and not for the same reasons. Becareful of the goals you set and be sure they are your own... truely your own. I almost made a major change in life..and maybe for the wrong reasons... who knows what those changes may have been for me and what lessons these things I have done have in store for me later in life.
For now I am back on the path I orginally choose almost six years ago. But, now it is much later and I am much older. I plan to now accomplish all that I want to do in less than two years and... thanks to what I read each day and have seen in you at DG.com ... I see ... it can be done. My faith is as strong as ever thanks to you all here. I have so much to do and so little time to do it in... As Winston Churchill has said "Never give up".
In later posts on this journal I will reveal more clearly what it is that I NOW plan to do and how exactly I plan to do it. Suffice to say, that for now I plan to raise over $70,000 in the next year and to visit Asia before September of 2015. That and in my immediate future I need to replace my day job in the next 6 months with at least $3000 a month (for 3 months). I Need this 30 day plan to work in 30 days. I can see that it is possible and I would love to hear from anyone that has made it work ... especially here in Florida.
