ARE YOU SERIOUS? Are you serious about your business? Or, are you making excuses for why your business isn’t working the way you want? Stop making excuses and get to work.
If you ARE serious about your Real Estate business make the most of every single minute. Take advantage of all of the opportunities presented to you. It amazes me when I hear of clients that want to become investors but a few months later they still do not have the tools they need to effectively be investors – like business cards.
A few years ago I was at a networking event where I met a young couple new to investing. They handed me a business card hand written on paper. It was the least professional business card I have ever received. When I asked them about it they told me they were new investors, they had little money, and couldn’t yet afford business cards. But, I could tell they were determined to be investors. A few months later when I talked to them they reported they had purchased a 4-plex and were now working on a duplex. This couple was serious about their business.
It’s time to get serious about your business. Get the tools you need – no matter how primitive or crude – and stop making excuses for why things are not working out for you. Get Serious!
As I write this the New Year is fast approaching. It’s a time for recommitting yourself to your goals. But, no matter when you are reading this you can commit to making your future the life you want it to be. To get you started consider these questions:
1. Analyze your current conditions and determine what you can improve on.
2. Ask yourself what it will take to move yourself from where you are to where you want to be.
3. Take Action! Set a goal to do one thing each week in the direction of your dreams.
Again, recommit to improving your business and yourself. Take your business seriously, stop making excuses, and make things happen.
