Landlords are buyers AND sellers, they buy and add rental/income properties to their portfolio of properties and sell off properties. Landlord Association Meetings are a great place to connect with Landlords. There are a few things to keep in mind before attending a meeting. The following Checklist will help you prepare yourself for the meeting:

PRE- Landlord Association Meeting – Organizer Script

• Hello, my name is ________________. Is this ____________? OR What is your name please?
• I am interested in attending your next meeting.
• When, Where and what time is it held usually?
• Since, I am new to your group, would it be okay if I attended the first time for free to see if it is a good fit?
• What benefits come with membership? How much is membership? (Monthly, yearly?)
• About how many members do you have as active members?
• How many typically attend your meetings?
• Is there a meeting coming up that could bring a larger crowd than usual? If so, when, where and what time is that meeting?
• Hmmm….the meeting is a little bit away from now….I was wondering if you might refer a one or two people from your club that are looking for wholesale properties that they could rent. I have a few things coming up in the next little bit and I would love to be able to pass on these properties to some cash buyers.
