I joined the DG family in January, and thought I would comment. We (me and Dad) have been spec home builders for several years. In north GA that has been dead since 2008. We found Dean and this site and it has opened up the RE world for us again. We have bought 3 houses and have contracts on 2 more. 2 estates and3 REO'S. We have a great RE agent, title company, mortgage broker, and contractor. Put out our Bandit signs and we have a L/O contract on the first house and are not finished rehabbing it yet. Will sign a L/O contract on the second house next week, and we just started rehabbing it today! This is a great business when you can help people and make money at the same time. If we had enough money, I believe we could have 50 L/O this year! Will try to flip at least one of these houses after rehab, maybe 2 for some quick return. I was wondering if anyone out there is interested in investing in Chattanooga, TN, Northwest GA, Or northeast Alabama? We will assign, wholesale, or full service rehab and rent.
