I just wanted to say thank you once again. You guys are the greatest. If I was having a don moment just coming here and reading this post will lift me up beyond words.

I gain more from you guys than you know and I am still learning new things everyday. So I will keep pushing and I will keep working and I will keep appreciating the fact that everyday is a new day that GOD has given me and I intend to utilize it to the fullest.

That was my first conference call...
My husband and I enjoyed hearing about your great deal. If was really something to hear how you got the guy to owner finance. Could you tell me how you got this deal to work out? For instance how did you get a down payment, terms, pavement, and are you renting all three houses and did you have to find the renters or were they all ready renting these houses, and will the rent cover all costs??? This is the scary part for me as I have no money to work with and you were encouraging but I just need a little more info to help me.
I am still looking for my first deal...

The Take-Home Message

Dear Anita and Dean: I somehow missed the live call, but got up late the next night and came to the website for information and saw the link for the phone call. It was amazing.

My take-home messages were many, but the outstanding ones were to "take action", "ask" anyone neighbors (I hadn't thought of that), police officers, etc about the properties you find that may be potentials.

I drive around during the day in my job and go through all kinds of neighborhoods. The potential for rehabbing houses and either flipping or renting is a virtual goldmine. I wasn't sure how to get the information short of going to the court house or tax assessors office, but now I have a plan, and I'm putting it into action.

Thank you for sharing your story with us Anita. It was inspirational. And thank you both for sharing your knowledge. This website is the best! Denise

Sorry it took so long to post this comment - I was busy checking out properties because Anita's call got me so excited! I decided to stop dragging my feet and get going if I'm going to be a real estate millionaire. Thanks Anita for your comments and homework assignment. Listening to you really encouraged me to keep going.

I was like you, a little unsure...but I broke the ice and am skating towards my goals. Thanks Anita for your advice and thanks Dean for an awesome site!

I thought Anita's comments on how she got started in real estate was so amazing. People are so uplifted and encouraged when ordinary people like Anita share their personal struggles and how she overcame her situation by taking action. I was so enthusiased by what she said that I took a walk in my own neighborhood and located several houses in foreclosure; collected fylers with contact information and left messages with the real estate agents/owners. I haven't even read the book yet; I have been doing some research on Dean's background and found him to be absolutely legitmate, honest, and trustworthy. I ordered the book yesterday. However, I have been on Dean's web site for hours reading; inspired by what I read I didn't hesitate taking action immediately. I especially learned a lot by watching video #2 regarding purchasing property without having money of your own; Dean's strategies are fantastic. I watched the video ten times and learned additional information everytime.

found new owner on the tax assessor website but it list the new owner as "US BANK NATIONAL ASSOC TR" which we can not find any info on. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I enjoy reading all the great information that is shared on the site including this conference call blog. I find so many new ideas as I read the prior writings.
