Weekly Wisdom #335 - Do You Want My Personal iPad?

My biggest fear is failure. Its easier to put yourself out there when you are young and/or single w/out kids. When one is responsible for others it changes your attitude (at least it should). Got to get it out my head and take action.

My biggest fear is to fail and dissapoint myself.

I have two obstacles that hinder me, I have hard time balancing my time in life. I put so much on my plate that I never finish it all. And the second one, perhaps one of the reasons I do that is that I have a fear of being successful...of maybe a huge fear of failing after I have been successful, it's complicated and difficult to explain.

I FIND MYSELF WORRYING ABOUT MONEY, IF MY OFFER IS ACCEPTED. BECAUSE WHAT I WAS TOLD THAT IF YOU GO THRU A REALTOR THEY WILL ASK YOU FOR A DEPOSIT. AND ALSO I MIGHT NOT HAVE A BUYER
FOR THE PROPERTY. I DO FIND THAT I AM HAVING A MORE POSITIVE OUTLOOK ON THE SITUATION. THAT'S A GOOD THING. THANKS DEAN

Biggest Obstacle is that there is no real estate program that has financial backing or a partnership program to help a student who has just declared bankruptcy to buy and manage an apartment building to start the ball rolling in order to purchase more properties.

I must make money so I can spend money. I have some debt right now so I need to get rid of that too. My knee replacement from last August is still making it difficult to walk and carry things. I am going to get there I just don't know when.

Finally, after getting started with you and your education in 2009, we have finally done our first deal and gratefully accepted the $30K that came with it!! That moment lifted all of the worries or fear away. We are focused on producing more and more now. The biggest obstacle is time, time to pull away from the current jobs me and my business partner hold. Time to devote to our businesses to secure our futures.

My biggest obstacle is being bothered by not being liked by others. When I am most productive, successful, and self confident is when others want to bring me down. Some people talk behind my back and misunderstand me when I am doing my best.

Hi Dean,
I love your Weekly Wisdom's. My biggest Obstacle right now is concentration. My mother is very sick with cancer and I have been traveling a lot back and forth to spend time with her and help out around the house. She lives in NE and I live in CO. It seems like every other week I am traveling and that does not give me the time I need to work on my Real Estate business. I am very worried about her and it is hard to concentrate. The doctor gives her 6 - 12 months to live. My sister also just had surgery on her lung for cancer. It never rains but it pours. So concentration is my biggest obstacle.

My Biggest Fear is looking stupid, coming across as some dumb know- nothing kid.

where do i began, i alway have life in general get in the way. believe me i have tried some deals that have fell in my face than i get scared to try again.i'm not sure what my next move will be but i'm still not quitting!!!!

Lack of self confidence. Closest people in my life don't believe this re investing stuff works. Lack of knowledge on the topic or how to get started. The legal and tax info that goes along with running a business.

I'm a rather healthy individual, that is because I am afraid of sickness, physically or mentally. So, I am big on eating healthy and resting enough, exercising regularly. I will do anything to prevent any kind of health issues.
Thank you for this encouraging video, it really made me think and reflect on my own well being. The bottom line is, You can't accomplish much if you are not healthy and taking good care of yourself first.

What holds me back is fear of failing and letting my family and myself down

Is to make a mistake that could cost me thousands of dollars and a lawsuit.

Fear of Commitment with the reasons of feeling vulnerable as new investor, there's too much competition, unrealistic expectations - thinking it's harder than what it is, waiting for perfect moment, feeling stuck in same lifestyle, holding on to past failures, and being too busy.

How and where to start confidentially with no money. How to carry yourself with confidence knowing you have no money to start your Real Estate Investing business. How is that done? where do you start with no money and how can I fake it till I make it but with confidence instead of all timid poking around. I know you know the answer to that because if I stripped you to no money Dean you would make money from real estate easily and quickly again no sweat. If that was went into depth more I believe a lot more people including myself would succeed quicker and more easily. Maybe a 1 2 3 course? 1 beginner (no deals under belt) 2 intermidiate (maybe less than ten deals) still learning the game. 3 advanced (maybe 25 plus deals under belt already just perfecting the game now just trying to be more efficient etc). People starting should be focused on beginner level and etc.... I believe this will clearly put everyone what they should be learning... Maybe this already exists I'm just being naive but I'm just expressing my thoughts. Dean all you do is greatly appreciated always! Thanks for all you do Dean.

I guess my biggest fear is that I don't have any experience for looking for another job nor being a real estate investor. It might all sound good in your "30 Days To Cash" book but in Northern California where I live, the home prices are from $500,000 or more. If I used the formula from your book, I would be crazy to try to buy a home for a 30% discount. I would almost have to twist their arm in order to sneak one by them. My area is populated with highly educated people. Most homes are fetching far more than the asking price by Chinese investors and other cash buyers. Not to mention there are high paying position holders walking around. I'm sure if my area was not run by any computer, biotech, financial, and real estate companies, our homes wouldn't be so high.

Something that's holding me back from my project of becoming an investor is I often feel like it's only in my head, nothing's happening out there, at least not for me and I'm imagining things.
Also I am afraid of doing something stupid because a lack of experience, I don't have a good network, I don't have a car, no moral support, not the significant kind anyway. I want to interact with people but I often feel like I have nothing to offer...

I decided I would do real estate later on in my venture but I have the hardest time doing just about anything: It seems I always have to go back a step. I lack some confidence because it all feels like play/pretend.
I don't even know at that point what kind of mentors I could find because I don't really know what my ''domain'' is anymore.
I am sure there is a way regardless but who could understand my problems and help me fix them, by just pointing them for starters...?

I'm afraid I'll end up forgetting who I am and what I want.

Struggling to get started with wholesaling.
How do i get started with limited funds for marketing?

This last 2 years have been really difficult. I lost my job and my husband became ill and passed away last November. My mind is all over the place.

What do i do first? I have the 30 days to cash book. Is that enough? I started reading but have not finished. I also have Rock Bottom Blueprint, which i need to revisit.

Just need to spend some focused time. My heart is broken over losing my husband.

my biggest fear is causing my family hardship from bankruptcy and homelessness. And my biggest obstacle is not having enough money for adequate child care, or the time and money to put in the effort to succeed in my goals.

Please show me how I can keep all my plates spinning and take my family to the heights they deserve, and be a successor. I want to be a good leader and role model for my family.

My biggest obstacle is my age. I'm 69 years old. I don't think that at my age there is sufficient time to really get going with real estate. I see where people have been at it for 5, 6, 7, 8 etc. years.

Dean I'm 43yrs old. I live on SDI. I'm sick and tired of not having the financial freedom that my husband and I so deserve. But I can't seem to get my husband to see that becoming a real estate investor would end all if our financial struggles, due to we don't make enough on social security. I know that I need your education to help. But I can't seem to comprehen what your books are teaching. I've always have been a hands on learner. I'm going out of my mind to trying to figure out how to start this on my own. Especially when its been almost three yes that I've been trying to convince him that this is our answer to a lot of things. I know my "WHY". I can't seem to save two quarters little lone hundreds for on line schooling of yours. Beside that the only internet I have is on my mobile PLEASE Dean I NEED,I WANT your help. I live in a RV this isn't my dream home. It has been my home for two and a half yrs now. I have a ton of dreams. But no idea of how to turn them into reality.Thank You for your time! I need hands on training.
