Your Son

Good Afternoon Dean:

I am glad to know that you acted in time and got your son the professional medical care he needed. I could imagine the state of mind you were in; this was a serious situation. You are correct about being prepared for situations such as this before it occurs. By this I mean knowing what to do and who to call when such emergencies arise. Thank God he is O.K.

#262 The Well

Really good advice
Sometimes we miss what "being prepared" really means!!

Thank you...

Digging the well

Dean, Your story brought me to tears. I know the feeling, having two children and how much they influence our hearts. Glad to hear everything turned out okay. I also really appreciate your heart and sensitivity to others and how they may have deeper challenges in their lives.

It shows how much you care about others. May God richly bless you and your family.

Dig The well Before You need The Water

Great thought and we all can learn from this, thank you always for the advice and I am glad your son is ok Dean Smiling

Sorry you had to go through that!

I'm so glad to hear that Brody is ok! Praise the Lord!

Just wanted you to know, since you seem to be into "healthy" alternatives, you might want to look into why he had an asthma attack.......it is most likely an allegeric reaction to a type of food. The most common would be dairy, but it could definitely be something else. Please Google this and check it out! I am VERY much into alternative and natural healing. My daughter is 8, has never had any vaccinations, has never had any antibiotics (we use garlic and other healthy alternatives) and is as healthy as a horse!! Western medicine is all about the $$ that can be made from prescription drugs and keeping people sick, so that they need to continue buying drugs. There is a time and a place for western medicine, but it should only be a last resort!

Just thought I'd throw my 2 cents in : )) I hope it helps!!

weekly wisdom #262 Dig The Well Before

Dean,

This video blog sparks something that I am going through right now, because I did not dig the well before. Now I completely understand and am living it why we all need to dig the well before we thirst.

Thanks again!

I'm seeing this a little late but as the saying goes, I saw it when I was ready. Yeah I let life get in my way however what a message!
So glad your son is ok and now you know what to watch for. Your story made me put myself in your shoes. I immediately in my mind, went to my kids.
Then, I transitioned to my own personal journey, how many ditches did I dig instead of wells?
I'm so done digging ditches! I want to be the best damn well digger. I welcome guidance from the team here as go to grab the well digging shovel.

Glad Brody is okay!

Hi Dean....Soooooo glad to hear your son is doing okay. Just reminds all of us of how fragile we really are. All the more reason to go for your goals......RE and otherwise!
Thanks for the inspiration as usual.
Tim.

scarey moments

Glad all is well first, The sense of not knowing can pull a person apart. Especially when it's close to you heart. Have had the misfortune of handing my daughter during seizers. The ability overwhelms ones selves. There you are powerless is the worst felling, so I thought, then I learned a word like, "SIDS" and then "Cancer", now I understand blessed for which I still have. You are blessed in many ways.
Enjoy & Until

Thank you again Dean for sharing. It made me think right away just recently when I put off going to the RIGHT DENTIST.

It became so stressful for me because I did not Dig The Well Before I Needed The Water.

I did not plan ahead of time and did not put the time in to check out different Dentist and I ended up with two horrible Dentist.

The first Dentist Greedy for the love of money and the second Dentist Incompetent.

Thank you very much for sharing your story with all of us, because of the fact It has helped me to not put off things that need to be done today and that pertains not only to real estate but everything.
