My Bio

I was born and raised in North Dakota. I love sports such as football, hockey, and mixed martial arts. I love technology and I enjoy finding out ways that I can use it to help make my life more productive. Now I want to use technology to help me make money.

I used to make websites and do graphic design. I won a national website design competition for the Future Business Leaders of America when I was a junior in high school. That was about 7 years ago. I thought I wanted to make websites for a living and went to college in Minneapolis for Interactive Media Design. I found out after a few months that I just didn't like doing that anymore. I still do graphic design for fun now and occasionally do freelance work.

After that I figured I should get a job to start paying off the $20,000 in school loans that I racked up for only six months worth of school where I didn't learn anything that I didn't already know. I got a job as a Salesman at a tv and appliance store. Then I got a job as a cellphone salesman and consultant. That is pretty much what I have been doing since high school.

I have been learning real estate for a few years but have not put any of the things I learned into action. My goal is to start now and do lease options and wholesale assignments to generate fast cash.

I think my biggest obstacle has been fear because I don't know everything and that makes me hesitant because I don't want to mess anything up to where I can't recover. I may say the wrong thing and screw everything up which scares me. I want to have a good understanding of my options so I can explain what I am doing and how I can help someone. I have read all of Dean's books plus some others and I am now starting to understand some of the intricacies of real estate investing, but the best way to learn is to actually do it.

My ultimate goal is to succeed in real estate and be able to become financially independent which will allow me to become debt free and to move to a warmer state such as California. I think I would like it there alot, and to also be able to travel the world.
