I was presented with a short sale from an ad that I ran on Craigslist. I called the re agent and asked about the property, she said the the bank is asking 200,000 for the property. It is a 4BD, 2.5Ba in a cul de sac in a very nice neighborhood. I pulled some comps. on DG analysis system and it est. between 190-275. I asked if she would make the offer for me, since I didn't have a re agent, for a discount in her commission she agreed. I have 2 people on my buyers list that is interested. I am due to meet with her in the next couple of days, my question is, would 150 be a good price to offer the bank with that price includes all the closing cost, with nothing down? I would have her make the offer with my name along with the words associate. Do you think that the bank would accept an offer with that word, or would I need to use some else's name, like one of the investors.
