I am want to help 1 family a month who is in that transitional homeless stage-no place of their own, family split apart by living in different places, sleeping and staying w/family/friends, maybe unemployed, sleeping in their car, etc. Needing and deserving a hand up.... help them by putting them in a home, payment free for 6-12 months here in the Treasure Coast or South Florida area.... what criteria should I use?

Dream a Little Dream
December 16th, 2009 | posted by SianaI can't believe I have been surfing this site since just before Thanksgiving and I never saw this area! This is actually where we want to take our business ultimately that is.
My dream is to start into this business however we need to and to do it by helping out others right from the get go. See we both have family and friends who are in poor situations and are in dire need of good, clean affordable housing with the dream of home ownership not only attached to it but a very real possibility!
Operation Free Equals Goodwill
May 19th, 2009 | posted by Shan1158It is our plan that when we actually begin to some positive cashflow.
The plan is to work with both homeless centers and abuse shelters and put a family in a home every year that will cost them practically nothing. Maybe land contract with no interest at $50 to $100 a month for X years depending on property. (only like 1 or 3 just enough for them to give them their respect that they paid for it)
Anything you do in your community promotes Goodwill this offers free marketing and publicity on top of you walkaway feeling good because you helped someone

Homes in Scottsdale, AZ
August 21st, 2008 | posted by AnitarnyDoes anyone have a home in Scottsdale, AZ that they would like to do this with? If so let me know because I know 5 needy families there that would love a chance to be in a nice home.
I would love to try this!
April 28th, 2008 | posted by RinaI can't believe I hadn't read this forum before now. I'm so busy right now, I wouldn't be able to try this until at least mid-summer, but I would love to get information from someone who already has. I'll go to Dean's other sites and try to get more information, but I would like to talk with someone personally who has done Operation Free Home. And for those of you that have, let me say I admire you and thank you for making a difference in a family's life!
