With the form that I received at the REI meeting there was yet another very helpful clause to add....

ACCESS : "Buyer shall be entitled a key and be entitled to access to show partners, lenders, inspectors and/or contractors PRIOR to closing"

I really like that.....wouldn't you like to have access to the home that will be yours anyway?

In the REI meeting that I went to....one of the speakers presented us with a Purchase agreement of his own that had some interesting twists in terminology. We have all heard that Banks don't want anything to do with an assignment clause, and This gentleman has a solution for some of us.

Instead of including the term "and or assigns" after your name. Include a CLOSING provisions item in your contract. The one used in His contract HAS BEEN looked at by an Attorney several times with NO issues being brought up here in Oregon. KEY PHRASE IS IN CAPS.

I went to our local, monthly REI club meeting for the first time last night. I went in having NO idea what to expect, NOR whom I might meet.

I found the experiences of the several speakers to be VERY enlightening, and helped to reinforce the fact that our training here is INDEED accurate and up to snuff.

In fact I felt that I was very much able to converse with those at the meeting in a comfortable manner without being nervous that I might seem too much like a novice.

I'd welcome input from anyone who'a had exerience with hiring one of those "credit Builder" programs, like I did. I like to share what I've learned as well I'm wondering what to realistically expect. We can mention names in PM's perhaps. THE GIST of this is I we want to completely separate our personal from our LLC and get access to cash L.O.C. for deals. This has worked beautifully for us, but we don't want more personal exposure. thanks grady

Just finished reading Dean Graziosi's book and I needed a kick start here in Hawaii. It seems as though Hawaii is a different real estate animal than the continental US so any advice would be greatly appreciated.
