Buying Properties From Out Of State

Buying Properties From Out Of State

People that are buying and selling out of state properties. Share your experiences in doing so, and how would you go about in finding lenders in that state since you can't go to a local REI meeting in that area.

I live in South Jersey but I'm also looking to buy properties out of state in New York, how would I find lenders in NY where I want to buy properties at?

Sharing With One Another,

John,

The best way to find lenders in out of state areas is to research the area and find the top real estate agents for your area of interest. You can normally spot the top agents by their total sales, calling an office or just seeing how many listings for an area they have. Often on a real estate agents website is a section called "my listings". It is unbelieveable how the top agents have many listings.

These top agents in the area would know who are getting the deals financed and closed. Whether they are the local banks of mortgage brokers. So often then not you can contact them and discuss the type of property you are looking for and get some great referrals for lenders in their area. I hope this helps. Good luck on all your deals. Believe and Achieve! Smiling - Joe
