My friend is looking to buy a second home in AZ. He has been down there once so far. I have asked him for more specific details as to what he wants. I would like to know the best way to search for the best deal possible from my computer here in MN. Can anybody give me some advice, or a direction I can follow. I have been looking on here at different forums to see what I can find.
Thanks

Mike,
First, you have to really know what you're searching for, you have to be more specific to do a search. If you have an agent, they can do a computer search in a certain area with all your specifics and you'll get automatic computer updates. Still.....you have to be there to go inside the house an evaluate how much work there really is. Plus, you'll need an agent to put in offers for you.
You can even do a search on Zillow for the area you want, the amount of bedrooms, the price, etc. If you don't know the area it will be hard to judge how good the price is. I could find a house for you for $30K....but I wouldn't buy it.
You can also search the HUD home list.

Or do a search for Arizona wholesalers and get on their email lists. I'm on a bunch and some send out daily emails. If they're good deals, they go fast.

P.S. I live in AZ and I'm a Fix N Flipper.....officially now because I just closed escrow today! I used an agent to find my property and put in lots of offers before I bought one.
