I just recorded my first message today and I just wanted to get suggestions from people who have effectively used this tool.
Have you had more success with longer, more detailed messages ( like the samples Dean gives in his book ) or shorter, more direct ones
Do you find people are more likely to leave a message or contact you if you provide them with your phone number at the end of the message?
Any suggestions on effectively using the message service would be greatly appreciated
Thanks, Ben

that shorter concise messages work best and to give them an option to speak with you increases the odds that you will actually make contact.

That's what I went with. I sort of mixed it up and covered the basics of foreclosure options but made it general enough that anyone that call can leave a message.
I left some flyers at the unemployment office yesterday on the way to my mom's b-day. I will be putting the rest out today, and hopefully I'll get to see if the message is effective.
I'm thinking of setting it up with extensions at the beginning so if they are in foreclosure, just need to sell, or are buyers they can all listen to the message that fits them.
