When you have a property under contract and are placing an ad on Craigslist for a buyer, do you place your ad as the owner or broker, because technically I'm not either one, correct? I don't want to get into trouble for seeming like I'm a real estate agent, when I'm not. Yet I'm not the owner either. Any suggestions?

Just run the ad under the section of real estate, offered by owner. When
you talk to someone you can say you're marketing for the owner. Do Not market as a Broker, this would be illegal since you don't have a RE license.
Thanks so much for your quick reply! That's what we thought but we just wanted to double check.

Hi Shelia,
Just what Gary and Jill said, go under real estate and do it as Owner.
Good Luck
