OfflineI'm new here so I am hoping I am putting this in the right place. I just got my very first call from someone in Miami FL. who said she is interested in buying properties in that area. I think she may be a real estate agent. However, I live in Jacksonville FL. Is there a way I can work this without having to travel to Miami because it is between 5 1/2 - 8 hours away.

Ask if she's an agent; by law she has to reveal it
Ask if she's the primary investor and if she says she is tell her what you have(NO!!!!!......ADDRESSES!!!!!) and request a POF before you provide and address. If she sends you a POF or LOI and her name is not on it, and she tells you "oh thats my business partner",....then you either;
Ask for his direct info and talk directly to them
If they don't want to give you the info to that person, move on
