recorded messages

Hey all - first post. I am trying to record my 24/7 recording to be played when someone calls the 800 number I have established. I don't want to do it over the phone because I feel it has bad sound quality. I can record on the microsoft sound maker through accessories but it only allows me 60 seconds worth of recording. Obviously, the messages Dean proposes are much longer. Also, it needs to be converted to a CCITT u-law format to upload to the 800 number site. Are there any third party share ware programs or others that work for this or perhaps some way to increase the allowed duration of the recording on the Microsoft sound maker???

Any help would be appreciated. Spent way to many hours on this already.
