Hi guys ,,I was just on youtube and I saw a guy who used $10,,,I KNOW CRAZY,,and he used that money as earnest money to lock up a property and then re-assigned it to a buyer and made over $5000 ,,,if I was to use that strategy of next to nothing earnest money how would I present that to a seller? I would appreciate any thoughts I have been looking at the market here in peoria ,IL. and am just looking for ideas thank you guys.

I think most all of us only give $10 as earnest money. I know that I do.
I just tell my sellers that I sign so many contracts that $10 is the absolute limit I use on all the properties I put under contract. They usually just say.."Oh..OK..I was just wondering what that $10 was for on the contract."
