It only takes ONE missed call to be THAT Deal!
You know, the ONE you've been WAITING and working for since you started REI.
SO, do you want to MISS it?
Do you answer your phone EVERYTIME?
If not, do you return calls quickly?
Are you using the FORMS needed on each call?
Are you in a quiet area? Background is Loud.
IF YOU're NOT in a 'quiet' area, get to one!!!
If They're NOT in a 'quiet' area, just tell them theres too much noise and you cant hear.
This IS a BUSINESS and should be treated as one, instead of a daycare or TV/ video gaming/ music party.
Answer your phone:
'Trademark Properties, this is Betty, how can I HELP you?'
(Be sure to have all FORMS Ready and fill them out!)

Be professional and respect your real estate business. Most people hang up and don't leave a message. If you can answer - do! If you can't - return the call. Normally, if you are at this point then you've done alot of work already. Don't let your hard work go to waste - answer, call them back, take it to the next level. It sounds so simple but so important!

The above statements are completely accurate. I support them 100%. As stated by Karen, if you can answer, do. But remember, you only get 1 chance to make a 1st impression.
A bungled phone call can lose you that buyer for good. There is no 2nd chance for a 1st impression. Make sure it’s a good one. In addition to answering the call, you need to make sure you are prepared with what and how you are going to respond. You won’t know the exact questions the buyer will ask, but there are some pretty common ones that you can count on. Be prepared to respond to those in a positive, upbeat and educated manner. Know what you hope to accomplish on the call, take control in a friendly, positive way and lead the buyer in the direction you need them to go. Friendliness and professionalism will take you far. Don’t under estimate their influence.
