wording for better homes

Okay I have always got a lot of traffic from my bandit signs, but I have only had about 4 or 5 homes that I could really even consider.
I get calls for homes in really bad neighborhoods for the most part and usually my contractor says that even if someone gave it to him, he would be sitting on it for a long time. He has been a general contractor for many many years, and is now a RE agent as well. He is my friend, but he says that I want to stay away from these homes. How can I attract better customers with wording or whatever? Thanks, Tammy

People live in really bad

People live in really bad neighborhoods. You don't think they all own their own homes do you? There are investors who love being slum lords. You need to add a couple to your buyers list.

I guess I need to look for the slumlords, because I have to many of these type homes. Need to put up some signs. Thanks you!

reconsider location

Tammy -

Where are you placing your signs? You might reconsider the areas where you are placing your signs to a better area. Different wording is not going to attract better properties because we are casting a net out for all properties. That's ok - bottomline it is a sorting process. I would try placing our signs in a better location and then go from there.
