I've had several people ask me about local REICs so thought I would post upcoming meetings as they happen. You can also go to the LA Investors group that I just started so that all of us in the area can network and bounce ideas off of one another on how to further our RE goals.
REIC of LA is holding their monthly meeting tonight, Tuesday, April 13. Meetings are held at the Radisson Hotel, 6161 W. Centinela Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90230. Arrive at 6:30 to network and check in. Meeting begins at 7:30.

Then come to this meeting tonight. I'm presently working with a couple of buyers I hooked up with at the last meeting this club held.
A lot of people have been writing lately about being afraid to start. Well, going to a REIC meeting is one of the easiest, most painless, most productive ways to get yourself going. You're in a room with people who all want the same thing you do. Some of them are brand new to RE, some are millionaires, most are in between. Everyone has something they can share. There are easily a dozen + people there looking for someone to birddog for them, looking for wholesalers to work with, or looking for someone to partner with on deals. The seasoned investors couldn't care less if you are brand new to the business. They'll take a deal wherever they can find it.

If you do come, be sure to bring plenty of business cards and don't be shy about going up to as many people as you can and getting your card into their hand. Make sure to get their card and if they are buying, make sure to find out exactly what they are looking for (write it on the back of their card or in a small notebook). MAKE SURE you follow up with them a day or two following the meeting.
