OfflineI'm so excited to be starting on this journey, and grateful for this Forum, and the whole DG Family for all of your insight. I feel blessed to have found such a great group of people gathered here, sharing excitement, successes, failures, and ideas. I'm kind of blown away by it all. 
I joined the site a little over a week ago, and have been lurking here on the forum everyday ever since. 
I just got my first DG book (30 Days to Real Estate Cash) in the mail today and decided it is time to jump in and start participating and networking with all of you wonderful people.
I've read and done every assignment up to page 42, and then I stopped reading so that I can make calls to Agents tomorrow and stay on the path step by step. I'm going to do it EXACTLY as it's outlined in the book and will track my progress here in my journal.
I have been passionate about Real Estate Investing for a number of years now, but up to now it has just been a hobby for me. I actually LOVE driving or riding my bike or walking neighborhoods looking for distressed properties and then doing due diligence on them to find out as much as I can about them and have been doing this for years... JUST FOR FUN!! LOL Who DOES that???
I was a RE Transaction Coordinator for a brief period in 2003, and worked with a lot of investors helping them put their deals together on Multi Family Properties in the Sacramento area. I had a great time doing it, and learned just enough to pique my interest and want to learn more. I was intimidated back then, but intrigued none-the-less.
I'm looking forward to having my own experiences with investing now, even if it's just finding deals for other people to start out, and then building from there.
I hope to meet and connect with many of you along the way, and I wish everyone here the hugest amount of success imaginable in all of your endeavors!

Okay... does anybody know why I'm getting weird spam on my journal post? This is really disturbing to me. Can someone please tell me why that's happening? I've looked at other posts and it seems to be only happening to mine.

Glad to see that you're here on the page too. Congrats. I live in here in Fresno but I do come up to the Sacramento area to visit family. Maybe we can meet one day? It'll be fun.
