I'm so thankful that Dean lowered the price on the Rock Bottom Blue Print. I had been looking everywhere to come up with the first payment, so when I saw his latest offer I didn't hesitate.
I reviewed the materials online and then decided to start with the 30 Days Quick Cash Formula. I didn't realize how hard figuring out my "WHY" and the goal setting would be.
When I looked deep I found that there was a frightened child that was afraid to step out and do what she wanted because sometimes love is conditional on doing what someone else wants. Well I'm challenging that fear to find out if it is real or not. I have to step out and do this.
I've wanted to do this for over 20 years, yet I believed all those who care about me saying, "Play it safe. Get a job. Save for retirement." Well where did that get me. Now I don't have a job and nothing left in savings or for retirement. If I don't really give this a try with all my heart, I may as well just lay down and die.
I allowed hubby to distract me several times yesterday and lost my focus. Today is a new day and I have a plan and I'm sticking to it. I know I hurt Ron's feelings when I told him that when I'm working unless someone is dying or the apartment is burning down Don't Disturb Me!
I can do this if I just follow through, one step at a time. I am taking acting this time. What's the worse that can happen? I won't have any money. Oh yeah, I'm already in that position. What's the best that can happen. I can be successful and do those things that I've wanted to do for years and had almost given up on.

Very courageous. I am proud of you. Keep telling yourself "If it can be done (and it can), I can do it!" You have capabilities hiding in you just begging to get out. Watch yourself grow, its not easy, not painless, but very rewarding.
I wish you an exciting properous journey!
Blessings & Favor,

Kate,
I love it! Congratulations on getting enough motivation to take some action!
Just do a few things EVERY DAY, and you will grow into a different person. Don't fall back into the slump like I see happen every day. Just remember, if other people can do it, SO CAN YOU!
Start a journal in the journal section of the forums so you can track your progress and look back on it in the future when you're big!
Best of luck,
Dominic
PS - TAKE ACTION TAKE ACTION TAKE ACTION! It's easy to get hyped up about something, but doing something about it is what counts.

I got up ready to go yesterday! When hubby got up I was busy working on Page 1 of 30 Days to Quick Cash Formula. He told me to go back to bed because I picked up a summer cold, and I told him I didn't have time to be sick. Famous last words!
When I made my first phone call, I discovered that I had lost my voice. The receptionist on the other end couldn't understand the squeaking noises coming from my mouth. Today I can barely speak in a whisper. That set things back for me.
At first I began to feel sorry for myself, but I don't have time for that right now. So instead, I went to www.totalviewrealestate.com and watched all the training videos.
A friend called and I didn't answer the phone because I can't be heard, but I quickly sent her an IM telling her about my voice. As we sent IMs back and forth, I explained about the RBBP and shared some of my goals. She wanted to know when I planned on closing my first deal.
I couldn't answer that question, but she wouldn't let me off the hook. Finally I chose September 11, 2011. On September 11, 2001, something happened to change the way the American people lived. It seems appropriate that I choose that as the date that I tell the naysayers that even though you said it couldn't be done, I Did It! It's time for me to change the way I live! I realize that this is something that I need to do for myself.
UPS delivered my RBBP package this afternoon, so I will add that to my tools to educate me. After all I chose a date that isn't that far out to change my life and I don't have enough information to do that yet. So I have a lot to learn ... and people to call when I can talk again!
I Am Exciited!!!!!

I started off strong with the 30 Days to Quick Cash Formula. I had to take a stove to Rochelle's place and then planned on going to my Mom's place and spending the weekend with her. Unfortunately, that was not the case.
About 20 minutes from Mom's, she called to tell us to head back to Wichita. My brother had died unexpectedly. Needless to say, everything got put on a back burner. I am still somewhat in a state of shock, but I also reminded myself that the bible says that none of us is promised a tomorrow.
Now I am starting again from the beginning. I will review the goals, which I struggled with so much the first time, and make any adjustments that are necessary. Since I have decided to live the rest of my life to the fullest, I need to go for this 100%. What would I do if I knew I couldn't fail? That is how I need to go after the real estate investing.
I need to set a schedule because I need to find a job to cover living expenses until my real estate investing can support me. My goal for that is by May 23, 2012. I want to take Ron on a cruise and be able to quit my job. This is one of the goals that I need to make a priority.
I am moving from the apartment complex that I am living in at the end of October. I need to sell some furniture and downsize to move. Since moving to another apartment was originally one of the two goals that Dean challenged me to set, downsizing is just another part of that goal.
So my assignment for today is to review my goals and rewrite them if necessary. I will also add my employment goal to the list. I am making a plan to achieve those goals with a time line for each step to be completed.
Tomorrow I will have my goals all prepared and printed. I will read them every morning and see what steps I will be taking that day. I will read them every evening, making note of what I have accomplished and what steps I have completed that day.
I still have September 11, 2011 set as the day I close on my first property, but I will only be doing it part time instead of full time like I'd originally planned.

I didn't realize how much my brother's death would affect me. I found myself staring at the computer or one of Dean's books, but the information just wasn't sticking. I finally decided to step back and take a little time.
I chose yesterday as the end of my Official Grieving Period. I went out to lunch with Ron and celebrated my birthday a week late.
It was on my Dad's birthday, and I remembered him fondly. For a while it was like New Years Day all over again, and the pain of his passing hit me hard. Then I thought about how proud he and my brother would be of me for stepping out and trying something that I've wanted to do for years.
When the mail came, I got Dean's new book, "30 DAYS to REAL ESTATE CASH." What a great present!
This morning, I sat down and determined what I would do today ... NO MATTER WHAT!
1. I will call 5 realtors to find my "perfect real estate agent,"
2. I will read the first two chapters in Dean's new book and follow through with the action steps.
3. I will make a log in my online journal.
4. I will set a new deadline to close my first deal. Even though I am off the pace I originally set, I only lose if I quit. I need to reset some deadlines for goals, but no one said they had to be chiseled in stone. My new deadline to close my first deal is September 30, 2011.
5. I will listen to the coaching call tonight (and every night this week) to determine which coaching style best fits my situation and goals.
I am NOT quitting. I am going to show those who think that this is a bad idea that I can do this! I am not only going to do this, but I'm going to do it well!!!!
