Celisse's (reicelisse) Journal

Celisse's (reicelisse) Journal

Well, as of 7:40pm(California time), tonight on 3/7/2011, my order was confirmed for Deans' "Your Town, Your Real Estate Profits" book with the Bonuses. Getting his newest book of R.E information & getting one of his most popular books, "Profit from Real Estate Right Now" as an add-on was a major deal in my opinion!

I'm starting this journal for several reasons:

a) to keep fellow DG members updated on my progress
b) keep myself motivated and accountable
c) track what I do & don't do action wise while reading Dean's books
d) motivate & inspire other young moms like me to take action!

I've allowed the FEAR bug to hold me back from accomplishing alot of things in the past several years that I know I would've been successful at had I only taken the plunge. Perfection & Fear can be a deadly combo, especially when you have that little voice in the back of your mind bombarding you with negative "what ifs". Society isn't always willing to give a "thumbs up" to stay at home moms when it comes to our desire to achieve our goals & dreams.

All of this from here on out is geared toward a better future for my 3 y/o daughter Alexandra & my 2 y/o son Brody. My kids will see me as an inspiration, not just another mom who "did her best to take care of us, but we lived on state aid & wore 2nd hand clothes."... I will NOT continue to be a part of the current majority who's satisfied with their current situation!

1st things' 1st -
I will start reading the downloads of Deans' books tonight & depending on what works best, will either continue on with the physical books when I get them or continue with the downloads...

No turning back now, I'm on my way... wish me luck!

Find the "Motive" in Your Motivation!!

**This post is on my idea of how to keep motivated in these early stages**

I'm reading "Dean's Profit from Real Estate Right Now" book, which came w/ the "Your Town, Your Profits..." book. Right now, I'm on the lead generation chapters, very excited about the possibilities & won't be quitting any time soon!

The best form of overall motivation I've found for myself is to find my reason - not my parents' reason or even what the state of California thinks, but MINE. Everyone has 1 or maybe a couple, but for me it's to be able to give my 2 little ones the life they deserve. For anyone here that has kids & is learning from Dean, I'm sure that's one of your reasons as well.

I could sit here all day & complain about the fact that I'm on state aid, I don't have my own transportation, my credit sucks... blah blah blah. No, I can't change the fact that I have 2 kids w/ someone that I don't plan on spending the rest of my life w/ because of what kind of person he's shown himself to be, but those other things, can easily be changed. What I love about Dean's books, this forum & everything else that he constantly provides his students is the very real ability to make those changes, no matter what your situation is or how bad it may seem; personally &/or financially.

There's a light at the end of the tunnel for everyone, you just have to be open minded to the possibilities & they'll be shown to you in one way or another - this is a principle of the Law of Attraction & it's VERY true! It's just all about working SMARTER. I don't believe in working hard, my parents are proof of the kind of disappointment years of trusting in "hard work" gives you. What may seem "hard" is mentally getting out of w/e negative funk you may be in. The change is what may seem hard or uncomfortable, but everything else is really just being SMART about it all, taking the right action steps & not allow negative people or situations to affect your mindset in the early sensitive stages of change...

I can definitely say this early in the game that Deans' books & programs are NOT just another late night infomercial scam (I know, I fell for alot)! He's a real person who genuinely cares about seeing others succeed at this. Dean provides the smart action steps, we have to provide the right mentality for it...

They say exercise is healthy for you... start walking & quit talking!! Eye-wink

Stay strong everyone,
Celisse Smiling
