As I was contemplating and planning about my retirement plans, I realized I can not retire yet (I'm on my retirable age now). I thought I needed to do some drastic change in my life aside from my JOB, in order to retire with dignity and also be able to help my children whenever they needed help. I prayed for guidance and wisdom.
I accidentally saw Dean's infomercial on TV one night. It caught my attention. I said to myself, I'll buy his book just to help and support his project (I identified him like my son, it touched my heart), not realizing he will be the channel of blessings to my family. I immediately dialed the number on the screen to order his book.
I remember telling my husband several times, after I've read his book and listened to his tapes, that I'm so thankful to God that there's still few people, like Dean who are willing to share his knowledge and sincerely want to help others achieve financial freedom. He was even willing to help in the payment plan. If not for this, I can not afford to be in the program.
I have bought 3 of his books, enrolled in the Success Academy, and had subscribed the "Set for Life". I have read the books and listen to the tapes. I felt I have learned some RE Investing techniques, though I don't feel confident yet. I know I need to have "Action" to get results. I feel I need someone to really hold me by the hand to start with my investing. Also I need some more encouragement.
I plan by the end of March 2011, I'll have my first deal completed.

Yes, one thing I am very thankful for is Dean. He has certainly changed my family and I's lives for the better! I feel blessed to have him in my life. I now have hope that my dreams can be realized.
Beth, I was in your shoes a year ago, and yesterday I finalized my 5th deal! You just need to take action! Your first step should be finding a realtor. Matt Larson has good tips for that, if you haven't heard them let me know.
