Hello everyone. I'm curently talking to an owner and ready to lock up the property, to assign the property and to lock it up, can someone walk me trough the process, do i need to talk to a lawyer or i can get the contracts ready and bring'em to a settlement company so they can take care of everything. Please advice me..

1st, you can print all of the necessary documents from right here on the DG website. You would negotiate the price with seller, lock it up by signing a purchase & sale contract, using and/or assigns. Then go to your buyer to assign the contract for your fee. Sign the paperwork between you & your buyer,
then go to the title company to set up the closing. Some states, like here in Fl. you don't need a lawyer, you deal directly with the title company.
