I just wanted to comment on this topic a little bit. I read Dean's books and I have followed his blogs for a year now, and I just want to tell you it works.
I did my first deal over the summer and I made 1700 dollars for my investing company without having to use any of my own money. I am using the 25/1 rule when putting in bids on properties. I am putting in bids on numerious homes at 50 percent below what they are asking and I have had five houses under contract since then with 50 or more percent equity built into each property. That rule works and I highly suggest you use it when you are putting in bids on your properties.
I have been doing this now for over a year and I have built up my network while learning new things and making great business partners through out the year. I am currently waiting on 5 deals that are killer to get accepted and has more than 30 percent equity in all of them. I am just moving very quickly and it is all thanks to Dean.

Hello how are you.My name Is Kendale Yawn and I read your post and it made me feel very motivated.You look so young too so I feel kind of stupid.But I have been in my comfort zone for tooo long and I don't know where to begin.I did a little homework after reading Dean's book Profit from real estate now'.And I searched for a couple of foreclosures around here where I live which is Columbia,Maryland.I can't believe how many of them are out here,It is crazy,And I was also hoping to even possibly save some people from foreclosure.How can I get started?I have knots in my stomach.I am so worried and have such a big thing with the fear of rejection.I worry about everything,Bills mostly but I soon hope to change this.I know I can do it,But where do you begin.I went as far as to print out what you wrote about the wholesaling deals.I wish that I wasn't so scared.
