OfflineI got a seller last week via my ghost ad on Craigslist in Miami area. When I had called him over the weekend He asked me if I would be interested in his house ( 2 bed/2 bath) which is free and clear and I was like "yea it looks like a beautiful house just what we are looking for, can you tell me a little about the house besides what you stated in the email?"
I let him pour out his heart lol to me and then he was like the condo is in a 55+ community and he ask me if I was up to 55 years old and I told him no but my partner is up to 55 years old. At the end of the conversation I told him "I'm still interested, let me talk to partner to see how we can work this out I wge back to in the next couple of days."
His motivation button: he bought another house in that area so his moving into the other one he bought. He lives in NY but relocating to the new house he just bought. When I first asked him for the unit # after he gave me the address he was like I should call him when I'm at the property. Well since I got his full name I just simply went online to the public record and inserted his name and I got the unit #. Right now I'm working on my numbers.
I haven't gotten back to the seller yet. I just to post this up to seek some advice on how to handle this.
So here is my question, can I do a lease option with this or make an offer since his also selling it as well?

The seller just emailed me and was like "Let me know if your interested. I am going to list the apt. with a realtor this week. I can put your name in as my own customer there for no commission to the realtor."
