OfflineI purchased Dean's 30 days to quick cash formula. Two or three days before I purchased this training, I was reading the book, 30 Days Real Estate Cash. So when I saw the 30 day quick cash formula I wasn't sure if I should buy it. I was wondering if it was the same as the book but then I thought about the price difference and I decided to buy it. I am glad I did. I feel even more confident working through Dean's training online.
Today is my second day. I'm looking for the right real estate agent. I felt pretty confident that I could make these calls. And as I began to consider which offices to call first, I could feel some tension or nervousness rising up in me. My first call I batch it up with the receptionists!
When she put me on hold to get an agent for me, I was cracking up laughing at myself! I said to myself, I haven't even talked to an agent yet and I'm messing up already! I think that's what I needed though because it broke the tension in me and I did much better with the rest of that call and all my other calls.
So I am making calls to find the right real estate agent, I followed the script and I had a few things said to me that I didn't really understand. And I want to post these so I can remember and look back at some point and say to myself, "Wow you had no idea what the real estate agent had said to you then but now you know!" It will be nice to be able to see my progress.
I was asked:
~Are you looking for REA Repos? (Or at least that's what it sound like she said)
~Another asked, "Are you interested in short sales?" (I don't know what that is?)
~I got, "What time frame are you looking at?" (Uhmmm?)
~And still, "Are you getting a loan or are you paying with cash?" (I didn't think that saying right then, "Let's start with starter homes" would be the right answer so I told her, "Oh money won't be a problem at all!")
It's obvious I have more to learn.
It is nice to see you here, just keep moving forward and read post and journals and stay active on the site and you will find all the answers you are looking for. You will get better at the phone the more you use it, it will all start to come together as long as you keep moving forward.

I think I found the right RE Agent to work with. It's very exciting! She has responded quickly to me and I have MLS sheets from her to start researching on cash buyers. I'm going to fill up my cash buyers bucket!
