Hi DG and Family
We have been off to a slow start trying to organize our lives and juggling things to work, but it is going better.
We know that we will succeed with all the help and knowledge that we have available. We are like that snow ball starting down the hill picking up speed as we go. I enjoy reading everyones posts and am learning from them.
We are off to another great week and hope every one has the same.

Don, congrats on starting your journal. I hope you will come back and post your progress!
Hey, just a completely friendly suggestion, and I mean this in the NICEST way possible. Think about changing the name of your journal. You can do that at any time. I say that because what you put out there, is what you will receive. If you say you are "Slowly Rolling" and every time you log in to look at your journal, that is what it says, and you will ALWAYS feel like you are in SLOW motion. I don't say that because you HAVE to be on this FAST track or get a deal tomorrow, but if you constantly think in your head HOW SLOW this will all happen, it will indeed be even slower than you imagined because that is what you are focused on and you have rehearsed in your head.
I hope I don't sound too looney, but it REALLY does help to accentuate the positive "Baby Steps" or "A New Beginning" as someone stated, or "Ready to start the marathon!" ----with excitement, but with the knowledge that yes, it does take time (I think it is great that you acknowledge that it isn't an overnight sprint!)
Alright, hope I didn't discourage you from writing or sharing. So many people evolve to be great on this site when their mind is put to it. Keep us posted! I look forward to seeing your progress!
Cheers!
Louisa

Hi Louisa
Thank you so much for the words of wisdom. You are totally right and this goes with making a new mind set. I see what you are saying and I realize we need to be saying and doing positive things. Thanks for the great advice. What we enjoy about the DG family is helping each other to succeed. I changed to title.
Thank you so very much and we really appreciate the great advise.
Thank you
Don
Hi everyone
We now have our business cards and bandit signs that we will put out this weekend. My brothers and I are on our way to our first Investors meeting. I'm scared to pieces and never more excited. This is a small group which will be good for our first time so looking forward to using the tools and knowledge that we have been taught. We know this is another step to our success. Will let you know how it goes. One step at a time will get you to the finish line.
Thanks for listening
Don
Hi
Our investors meeting was awesome. We were told there would only be a few investors at this meeting and it turn out to be 22 investors. Everyone made us feel really welcome. We walk away with only 6 cards but that was more than we walk in with. Our coach Cory is teaching us how to qualify them. If anyone is new like us, I encourage you to step out of your comfort zone like we did and go. It was really scary to walk into a room full of investors but so worth it. I realized that they are people just like us, nothing to be intimated by. It was such a great lesson on our journey. We are going to attend as many as we can now.
Got to go so that's it for now
Don
The more investors' meetings you attend, the more comfortable you will feel being there. Same for everything you do with regards to investing...talking to people about it, putting out bandit signs, etc. The more you do, the more comfortable you will get with it. Keep up the good work!

Hello Don-
I read thru your thread and wanted to reach out and see how things were going. We too attend our local Investment club meetings and in the beginning we were a bit timid but the more you go the more comfy you are and the more networking you get. Remember to always focus on the positive results in every situation and know that you have taken another step closer to reaching your goals. I would encourage you to keep putting out those bandit signs as well- we have GREAT success with ours.
We are here to help if you need anything. Feel free to post here or private message us. Good luck on moving your business to the next level.
