OfflineWe technically started this journey in January at the 3 day seminar, it then took us until March to do boots on the ground. The reason for that was we had to scrape up the money to purchase the additional training. Once that was done, we were on our way!!! However, we became overwhelmed with life and all the tasks at hand. We then attended the buying summit (April 2013). That was exactly what we needed, we met so many people starting out just like us! Then Dean spoke at the summit and gave everyone his 30 Days book... that is what it took. We have read up to page 47, which were the blueprint for the first 5 days. So far, we have created our 30 day goals, and posted a bandit ad on craigslist. We have also researched names of real estate agents in our area, and have emailed Matt Larsons email script to them. Hoping now for some call backs.... Received two responses from ad on craigslist, and have responded to them to see if they are interested cash buyers. Waiting is the hardest part. We put the plan together now we have to work the plan. Part of that plan is writing in this journal everyday... so if you don't see a post on a certain day feel free to email us to get us back in gear!!!! Wow... as we come to a conclusion of day 2.... So much is happening, we are excited and a little scared. Found a buyer... and a real estate agent... Dean's book really works!!! Having so much trouble finding the coroplast for bandit signs... so we are going to try to use a different material and make something work. The hurdles we have come across so far are compiling a buyers list, yes, we found one buyer however we would like to have at least two buyers. The second is the market here in Florida is going crazy, so we really need to make sure the numbers work in order to make a profit!!! Well, we can't wait to see what tomorrow brings... So excited!!!!
Getting started can feel overwhelming. Treating your training as a blueprint is a great strategy. You are being provided with the tools and knowledge. You are learning from the best. They have learned the hard way and now we don't have to
It sounds like you will have a rhythm and be on you way to making money in no time.

Hi Dave and Gina I too am just trying to get started. I've read multiple books but feel I am still missing a few pieces of info vital to kick things off so I just ordered Dean's "30 Days to Success" book today. After I read that, it's time for "on the job training." I am a little nervous but I can't let that stop me from jumping in. All of us beginners need to stay confident, motivated & determined....WE CAN DO IT. An important factor for us will be to soak up all the knowledge we can & learn from what mistakes we do make along the way. I hope things go well for you two along the way, let's stay focused & make it happen!!
way to go on staying connected and motivated. life throws us curve balls all the time but staying focused and moving forward is key. The 30 days book is wonderful. It is truly a step by step guide to do this business. It will work if you follow the steps.
