Contract

If I get a great deal (what I thought)under contract,and in the contract it has the inspection period,and the purchase price what we agreed on,once the inspection is done and it isnt what it appeared to be,can I either tear up the contract,or lower the price,can that be done?

Was your contract contingent

on the inspection. If it is then you would not have to perform. If it was not contingent then I don't think you can just walk away.
