Reminder Follow-up for Agent

Reminder Follow-up for Agent

Good morning everyone. When I had my meeting with my 1st agent & afterwards I sent him a follow-up letter about sending me the info (MLS list, etc...) he emailed back to me that he would work on my requests during the weekend for him to have it ready for me today. Up to right now, I haven't heard from him. Any suggestions on how to approach him with a reminder follow-up email about him sending me this info?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

If he doesn't send you anything today...

Give him a friendly phone call tomorrow or a short e-mail tonight. If he never gave you a time today ("first thing," "after lunch," "before 5," etc.), he may not be "late" yet, from his point of view.

I'm sure ElixBrown will say this soon enough but, if you haven't paid this agent anything or signed any agreement with him yet, he's not gonna jump to help you first or fast. Not if he has more pressing (profitable) business going on. Not being rude, just saying - the agent's current and repeat customers will always take priority over new and potential ones. Also, his "retail" (top dollar) buyers will probably take priority over investors looking for a "great deal" (huge discount). Simply because he can get paid more money, and faster from them. It's not personal, simply business...

No matter how or when you contact him, let him know first and most importantly, that you know he's busy, and you're not mad nor trying to be pushy. Keep that attitude throughout the conversation, and anything you say after that should be well received.

Bottom Line: If you treat busy professionals like they're busy professionals, they will respect you, and hopefully help make you a busier professional, too! Best of luck to you... Laughing out loud
