I have seen many posts that allude to Coastal Funding as a source for Proof of Funds. I would like to know who has used this company to fund deals in California or for that matter anywhere recently.
As a RE Broker and a consumer my general rule of thumb is if the company I am doing business with does not have a phone number where I can reach them, then they don't strike me as being a reputable company, especially in light of what we are trying to do here and how important funding can be when you are trying to do deals.
My problem is that I have had several deals now and requested formal funding from Coastal and a return phone call. I have never heard back from them. If I can't get a return call how can I possibly trust them to fund my deals when the time comes.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

I just printed out 2 different letters for proof of funds and am off to meet the agent in an hour. Wish me luck and I will let you know if it worked.

Let us know how it goes. I haven't used the POF letter yet for an offer, so I'm curious if it works or not. I'm sure it does, or others wouldn't be recommending it. Just that fear of the unknown, I guess!

One of my offers was accepted using the Coastal Funding Letter I printed out for my offer. I may not be able to complete this deal since I cannot come up with enough money for the quick closing, but they accepted the letter with no problems.

Hi everyone, I sent an email to coastal-funding as well and got a response back within 3 hours. They explained to me how things work with them and I was very pleased with the content of the email and their response time.
I know of people that have used them and they are legit. They have provided me with a pof before.
