I signed up for one of his 3 day seminars

Now I wanna find out from others who has experienced it was it good and did you feel like you were not scammed. Some of the stuff they said they'd do for us was finance $500,000 or less with no credit check for our first purchase and help me through the process. It sounds way too good to be true. I think its called Profits from Real Estate Right Now. Anyone have experience with this let me now here or pm me.

Why don't you do more research before you start throwing the word SCAM around on this site. This is not a place where money falls off trees like leaves. This is a place of hard work and trusting others! It works and you will make money if you do what we teach.

For the purchase.

To finance your first purchase as long as they get a 2% from the profits. It seems vague.

You're talking about as a

You're talking about as a hard money lender? 2% doesn't sound bad. I read what you post but, I'm trying to understand... who told you that?

it was the speaker

The speaker present at the free event. He said up to $500,000 on a property. He never said it was a hard money lender, he just left it very vague so I'm pretty skeptical about this. I'm hoping for the best but it seems too good to be true.

What event? Do you have his name and number? Give it a try. What worst can go wrong?

Was it a Dean Graziosi event

Was it a Dean Graziosi event or something else?

Dean Graziosi

He wasnt there himself but they were saying it was his system. On the receipt it doesn't mention him except for Edge Real Estate I think. On the original invite to the free event, it had his picture and name on it. During the seminar his name was mentioned a lot too.

Look to the left and PM a

Look to the left and PM a few of the TOP USERS and ask about it if it makes you feel more comfortable. But, this site is a great site to learn alot about real estate investing. The first thing we have to is change our thinking. The magic is in our thoughts. We think negative, we get negative results; we think positive, we get positive results. Pick up a copy of Think & Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill and a copy of The Secret by Rhonda Bryne. Always read books on real estate. Also, make it a habit to read inspirational and motivational books and/or audio-books. You came to the right site.

Seminars...

There are many seminars that teach many different strategies for making money in real estate. Dean Graziosi is only one name in the business and one that I'm partial to and I think gives good seminars. So, the bottom line is, if you find one that you like and relate to, then listen, study and take action and you will probably succeed with a some hard work.

Instead of saying "The worse that could happen is that my intuition about these seminars are right and I'm down $2000" maybe you'll be one of the testimonials on the screen for next years students.

The $500K funding sounds like transactional funding for a wholesale deal. When you go, you'll find out the details.

P.S. I paid more than that for my first seminar.

Yeah its transitional funding......

I looked at one of the papers and it said that that is one of the bonuses. Can someone explain what that is?

TheDiceMan

I attended the 3 day workshop with a friend who was starting out and purchased Dean's course and the 3day workshop last year.

The speakers at the 3day will show/teach you info on the strategies to use to find sellers, buyers, marketing and how to buy properties. You will have homework assignments for the next day.
The speakers will actually make calls on properties you provide, and negotiate the price on speaker phone with the seller for everyone in class to hear and learn from.

There is additional training and mentoring available for an added cost.

The Transactional funding they offer is for you to fund your first deal in a back to back closing and get started making it in REI. The cost of the funding is 2% + $495 if I remember correctly.

Please fill out your profile info- name and where you are,why you're here and what you want to accomplish - it will help to network with others and even partner on deals. We dont want your address or phone #.

The numbers sound right.

Those are the numbers that I remember as well. I heard those numbers from one of the Insider's Edge / Dean Graziosi traveling workshops where they do their sales presentation to get you to sign up for the 3 day training. I don't remember how long you have to pay back this funding though. I was thinking it was hard money vs. transactional funding but I'm probably wrong...

@Mike

What is in post #12 that you want me to read?

TheDiceMan

I went to one of those seminars. They offered several programs. First you could buy the real estate one where you pay like $2,000 and you go to another town for 3 days of training and they will allow you to use their money for investing and you split the profits. And if you do so many deals in a certain time period the will refund your $2,000. Also if you meet their requirements they will pay for your motel room. Second they offer to sell you a course on buying tax liens and tax deeds. Third they offer a program that you can buy to find people that lost their homes to a tax sale and whatever was paid for the house that is over what you owed in taxes are supposed to be given the person who owned the property at the time it was sold. If you find them and they are willing you can charge them a percentage of the money they will get from the county for the overbid to help them collect this money. Fourth you can get a course that will help you sell things on the internet including real estate. Each course has a different price. I could not buy them because I did not have the funds but they all sounded great.

Exactly what I went to........

I signed up for the one about Real Estate. It starts on november 18 through the 20.

TheDiceMan

GREAT!! I hope that you learn a lot of things in the class. If you don't mind would you let me know how it was and what you did in the class.

Thanks and Good Luck

Yeah

Yeah, I'm let you know if its worth it.

Sorry for using the word scam..

The Insider's Edge Seminar has been nothing but wonderful. Clearly teaching us the various methods on how we can make money on real estate. I'm very happy to have spend the money to go. It's definitely worth it.
